21.01.2022 It was so good to finally visit Aberfeldy Farm & Barn and attend the annual Boots & Bling Gala Event 2020. Our first line dancing event and it was a blast! None of us are line dancers but we stayed on the floor all night We were also fortunate in the morning to be able to stream our usual Saturday live online class from the barn. What a treat! 17.01.2022 We tried out the winning routines from the ACA Choreography competition last night. Here's Easy Intermediate winner 'Me Too' by Yvette Mills. Congratulations Yvette! Hoping to get to some of the other routines in the coming weeks too! Congratulations to all those who entered the competition! You all put yourselves out there and we are fortunate to have 21 new Easy Intermediate and Intermediate routines to explore.

15.01.2022 Online Flatfooting workshop is coming!! We've been having a lot of fun mastering the technique in both our Online and in person classes over the last few weeks! Now we need the rest of you to try too! ... We will break down the technique needed to successfully execute the flatfoot style all in the comfort of your home! We'll use different pieces of music to help you hear the counts and rhythms of flatfoot style and then we will put it all together to have a routine to help you practice and drill technique! We will learn a full routine to 'Together' by SIA! Our students are already doing so well after just a few weeks! It's definitely achievable for everyone! Remember Buck and Flatfoot is where some dancers started to learn! Its not just about hard technique! We just need to ease into it. Just like when we learnt our first Double Step!

13.01.2022 Registrations open for our Christmas Fun Day! https://www.eastcoastprecision.com/online-store We've setup online registrations for the day to help us keep with the COVID Safe plan. There is a maximum capacity of 70 people at the hall so we'll need to keep track of numbers. And also, we do need to have a record of everyone who attends and by registering now, we can avoid lining up and filling out attendance sheets on the day and get straight to the fun bit - DANCING!... 11.01.2022 Do Si Do, taught at Clog On 2020 - Online Event by Darolyn Pchajek was so much fun! Loved the Cotton Eyed Joe into Do Si Do and how it went with the music! Clogging classes are as much about the banter and sharing as it is about the dancing. And with this routine, the Canadian in our class taught us that Clamato, a step in the routine, is actually a drink - tomato juice with clam juice Has everyone else also been trying out the Clog On 2020 - Online Event routines?

It'll be a day of Christmas fun with a few quick teach routines and a social. Bring your own lunch, snacks, drinks OR you can always have something delivered :) But most importantly, bring yourselves so we can all see you and finish the year dancing together.
