20.01.2022 This is the future of sky entertainment. Drones can run using renewable energy, do a lot more and doesn't produce any smoke like Fireworks. I think that it's been long enough for Fireworks being the leader in this field of entertainment and should to go the way of horses for everyday transport.

16.01.2022 Welcoming everyone to the annual Edith Cowan University open day. DAS will be holding a store outside the engineering building for all to come and explore the exciting world of Drones. There will be FPV drone racing simulators set up, allowing everyone to see if they have what it takes to fly a high performance drone. Also on display will be a freestyle performance by professional flyers showing the true power of these Drones. We hope to see you all there, having a tonne of fun.

15.01.2022 The Future is here. In a dynamic world like ours, a lot is changing, a lot is advancing. In a world where once the wheel was the pinnacle of technology, we now have plans for drones to deliver post door to door. With these speedy advancements in mind, a few of us ECU engineering students saw a huge potential in the ideas we discussed. We have therefore forged a group, Dynamic Automated Systems (DAS) that will be dedicated to listen to the many ideas we have as engineers, lo...ok at the feasibility and putting them in action. One such idea is seeing the light of action. The group plans on designing and manufacturing a 3D printable chassis, code and debug a microprocessor to run motors for an Autonomous drone. After its success in flight, the drone will be used to teach high school students on the engineering aspects of such a build. Feeding the young Australian minds of tomorrow. This will be one of the many project we as DAS will be engaged in.

15.01.2022 With all the preps through out the past year. DAS will be hosting an Interschool drone race. First of its kind at ECU. Props up! Lets race!

12.01.2022 As Easter school holidays come to an end. A handful of Western Australian students are prepping for an exhilarating FPV experience. 18 school are assembling racing drones, to compete head to head. What matters is how quick their drones fly and how much fun they'll have flying them. #FPVfliying #drones
