12.01.2022 Final Video- More Than a Sport! As Melbournians have returned to lockdown for another 6 weeks, it’s the perfect opportunity to not only reflect on the past, but begin setting some goals for the future. We at EC Waves pride ourselves on creating not only amazing athletes, but also incredible human beings. Our goals including teaching our athletes valuable skills and moulding them into their best possible selves. We believe swimming is a sport that provides children and young a...dults with a chance to build numerous skills they’ll use throughout life. If you’re considering swimming as a sport for your child, take the leap. You won’t regret it. Below is our final video of our original isolation interview series with some of our EC athletes. More than a Sport, outlines some of the things our swimmers have taken from the sport and are able to apply in their every day lives. We hope you enjoy. Gain an insight to what being an EC member is really like... Kahlia Marsh & Katelyn Borg.

10.01.2022 We are READY! Since the announcement Tuesday of restrictions being reintroduced, our dedicated coaching team have been brainstorming BIGGER and BETTER ways to keep our club and community going through this tough time. Our last lockdown we provided ALL of our athletes from Development up to National representative, with up to 6 online workouts each week! We were able to see some incredible RESULTS after being back in the water the last 4 weeks, with many swimmers getting pbs i...n time trials last week! Through analysis and reflection we believe we can do things even better this time around. With a greater focus on ENGAGEMENT and EDUCATION we are now offering more virtual opportunities for our athletes. These include goal setting, meditation and visualisation, swim specific workouts, trivia, movie nights and SO MUCH MORE! To get involved send us a message via Facebook or email us at [email protected] See more

08.01.2022 As a sporting club we are always encouraging our athletes and families to lead healthy and active lifestyles. At the moment, although our sport and recreational... activities are limited, there are other things we need to be doing to stay healthy. Washing and sanitising hands regularly, only leaving home for the 4 reasons listed by the government, and now when we leave home it is mandatory you wear a mask. This week the media has been full of negative energy and we made it our mission to inject some positivity into our social media feeds. Please enjoy our junior swimmers and coaches Mask Selfies #coachingdonedifferent #vicgov #swimvic #swimmingvictoria #masks #ecwaves #healthandwellbeing See more

04.01.2022 This week due to eased restrictions, EC Waves athletes had their first sessions back in the pool. It was so great to see the swimmers back on pool deck. Here is our 3rd video from the series, Supporting Success. This video showcases the different aspects of success we see at EC. Success is not only measured by numbers on the scoreboard. At EC, we believe the best measurement of success within a club is growth. Growth of the swimmers, both personally and performance wise. Growth amongst the coaches improving their knowledge, skills and communication. And, growth through the connections forged within the community. These elements are the foundations of our club. #ECWaves #swimming #swimmingVictoria #swimmingAustralia #interviewswithathletes #videoseries #inspire #waterisourworld #flybackbreastfree
