25.01.2022 By popular demand, EDA has launched an economic development training program, specifically for elected officials. As we commence community recovery following drought, bushfires and COVID-19, it is critical that our elected officials understand the importance of economic development. It would be fantastic to have this program included in the induction training for all local councillors in Australia! Please encourage your council to invest in training for their civic leaders.... They could be recognised as an EDA Economic Development Champion (ACecDC) under the new national program. Modules available: Module 3.1 Understanding the Economic Landscape of Your Community | 4 Feb 2021 Module 3.2: Planning Economic Success for Your Community | 18 Feb 2021 Module 3.3: Leading Recovery and Building Economic Resilience for Your Community | 4 Mar 2021 Module 3.4: Be a Champion | 18 Mar 2021 For more info visit: https://www.edaustralia.com.au//elected-official-communit/
