23.01.2022 It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. It's just around the corner friends so don't forget to order. Give us a ring or just pop in. Good Australian pork and our home cooked hams. Yum yum. And try our beerenberg sauces and drips. All the way from South Australia. Another great Australian product. Go Aussies

21.01.2022 Special flowers to our friend and co worker Maureen whose younger brother passed away this week. Deepest sympathy to you and your family. Everyone at eddies are thinking of you all. We hope this small bunch of flowers makes you feel a little bit better.

20.01.2022 Wow what a crazy week that was! Thank you everyone for your patience in these hectic times, your orderly queues and smiling faces were much appreciated. This week was unprecedented and unlike the Christmas rush, we were unable to prepare for it. Stocks were low and hard to get, processing times had to be quick which resulted in less trimming and attention to detail like our customers are used to. Our usual gourmet products were not produced as we had no time to do fiddly ...product lines. Our normal process would be to age our meat for up to two weeks after we purchase it, but due to the frenzy it was pretty much from paddock to shop in a day. You may notice the quality and tenderness is not of its usual standard and this will be the reason. Let’s hope this panic buying settles down and we can all get back to some normality soon but until then we may still have some limits on our stock. Thankfully Huge shout out to our staff, guys you’re all amazing See more

We will do our very best to meet your needs. Also on the odd occasion we might have to close our doors for SHORT PERIODS while we re stock and have a clean up. 11.01.2022 RETIREMENT After 30 years and so many memories it has come a time for myself and maree to sit back and enjoy the good life. RETIREMENT !!!... We are please to announce that our long service manager John and his beautiful young wife Margret will be taking over the butcher shop. Many of you already know John, who has been with us for 15 years and young tommy will be staying on too. The name will change BUT the service and products will not. YES. Eddie will be staying on to still make his famous small goods. So please don’t hesitate to pop in and say hi and still support local small businesses. it’s so important to keep these little strip shops going. The journey has been absolutely wonderful, we have met so many beautiful friends. You have all supported maree and I through happy times, sad times, difficult times and grumpy times. We thank you all for your continued support. We will miss you all. Eddie and Maree

11.01.2022 Thank you River for your beautiful song yesterday. River was suppose to star in Billy Elliott but sadly it’s been cancelled. He is a true star in the making. He gave us so much pleasure singing. I think we will have to keep an eye on River as he will certainly be going a long way with his talent. Again thank you River

10.01.2022 congratulations to our wonderful son Drew on his 100th game as a boundary umpire for the AFL. Yes we went early from our butcher shop to watch him run the Collingwood/Carlton game. He did a fantastic job as usual. We are so proud son.
