21.01.2022 Oh my goodness. After the cancellation of Candelo markets, and our call for help rehoming our cheese, we have been overwhelmed with responses. From Nimmitabel t...o Nowra, and all across the Bega Valley, we say thank you. But, we also extend our apologies, because the demand far outweighs the available cheese. Thus far today, we’ve packed over 80 individual serves, with more to come in the morning. But we’re seriously buggered. If we haven’t spoken, or if I haven’t been able to return your message, I can’t guarantee any cheese and for that I’m truly sorry. The best I can offer is that you try your luck at Candelo, near the General Store, Monday 4th, from 3pm. You never know - there might be bits and pieces that haven’t been collected. If nothing else, we will have some free samples of our Crescenza, while stocks last! If all else fails, we’ll be at the Produce markets, Littleton gardens on Friday, 8-1. Or, Merimbula markets Sunday 17. Just to confirm pick up arrangements - Kalaru (old servo/cafe) 12-12.45; Littleton Gardens, Bega, 1-2, then Candelo from 3-4. See more

16.01.2022 An interesting watercolour by Owen Stanley, dated February 1848 and titled "Preparations for raising the Bramble after she had been sunk for a week to destroy t...he cockroaches." Stanley had sailed from Portsmouth, England, in December 1846 in charge of the HMS Rattlesnake with naturalists Thomas Huxley and John MacGillivray on board. They were accompanied by Charles Bampford Yule on the HMS Bramble, and it was in reference to the vessel and its Captain that Yule and Bramble Streets on the Eden Lookout were so named. See more

16.01.2022 Yesterday was a day to remember! It started with an awesome mugging on our morning tour. And then an action packed afternoon. The ocean was bubbling with whales... and big splashes everywhere we looked! Lots of fun! With so many whales out there at the moment who knows what behaviours we will see today.....
