25.01.2022 WooHoo! Progressions and Qualifiers have been released and 4 of our Little Athletes are off to State Champs at Casey Fields on March 16/17. Rachel Duggan U16 in 4 events - Dis, Jav, TJ and 800m, Imogen Hollis u16 -HJ, Kate Ellis U15 in 4 events - 100m, 200m, LJ and HJ and Will Ellis u11 - HJ. We wish all our athletes Good Luck in representing our small club.

24.01.2022 Just to advise that the LAVIC REGISTRATION PORTAL IS LIVE FOR EDENHOPE. We look forward to your potential return as a participating family for our 2019/20 Summer Season. Please spread the word, too, to grow our centre. We now encourage returning and new registrations during the next fortnight prior to our Come and Try on Monday 21st October, if you are planning on attending that day. Registration for as many as possible continuing and new members needs to be completed by th...e end of Wednesday 23rd October 2019. This allows our software to be set up to include all registered members ready for the Weekly Competitions commencing on Monday 28th October 2019. 17.01.2022 Survey for viability of continuing Edenhope Little Athletics. Copies have been sent to St Mals and Edenhope College for feedback. 2019/20 Season... 2019 Season Little Athletics Edenhope are asking for some feedback from parents and children prior to our AGM this month. If your child is between 5 and 16 and is interested in participating in the next little athletics season it is essential you complete our survey and return it to your school by 12th August to determine if the season will go ahead. The athletic season usually runs from the start of Term 4; taking a break over the school holidays and resuming at the start of Term 1. usually finishing towards the end of March. In the past it has been conducted on a Tuesday night from 4.45pm- approx. 5.30pm with each athlete competing in 4 events. A requirement for your child to participate in Little athletics is that parents are present and available to help for the whole session (which involves setting up/packing up equipment and assisting with running events). Little Aths Victoria runs courses to help parents learn about athletics skills and how to assist kids with events, however this not essential. The committee is also looking for new and enthusiastic parents to have positions on the committee for the club to be able to continue. We welcome all feedback, new ideas and suggestions! Family Name: How many children and what ages would be interested in doing Little Aths this season? Are you willing to take a role on the Committee? What is your preferred day and time for little aths to run? Any New ideas on how to run the sessions are welcome.. 14.01.2022 Hi All, just to let you know we are having our AGM on Friday 13th at 6pm at Lake Wallace hotel. If you are interested in your child doing little aths you need to attend the meeting as we have some children not continuing on and this means most of the committee positions will need filling. 14.01.2022 Day 2 WCR Championships at Ballarat. Rachel Duggan u16 Gold - Discus, Imogen Hollis u16 Gold - High Jump with a PB, Kate Ellis u15 Silver -100m, Will Ellis u11 Bronze- Triple Jump, 4th in 100m Final. Sienna Bull u12 qualified for 400m after her heat and stormed home for 5th in the final. Mitchell Hateley just missed out on the 100m Final after his heat and came 4th in Shot Put. Great effort by all athletes! We have 3 athletes that automatically qualify for State Championships at Casey Fields on March 16th /17th. Rachel in Discus, Javelin and 800m. Imogen in High Jump and Will in High Jump.
