Prompted by what they saw during our Black Summe...r Bushfires, the Norwegian Seafarers' Union passed the hat around to raise funds for bushfire impacts communities. Working with the Maritime Union of Australia - MUA we were able to direct some of that money to the laptop program at Eden Marine High. Some families have struggled to support their kid's digital learning during the pandemic, this helps close that gap for some. I join these students in saying a big THANK YOU to the Norwegian Seafarers' Union and the Maritime Union of Australia. We really are one planet!
