19.01.2022 Has anyone taken photos at Playtime that they haven't already sent me or posted on Eden Playtime and Community gardening? I'm hoping to print them tonight so we can make a photo board tomorrow. Last minute, I know Covid restrictions are easing. Finally we can reduce waste by no longer using individual sealed containers at snack time. We still have 2 people serving food with tongs but kids get to choose what they want so less food wastage too.

18.01.2022 We are making water shakers this Tuesday with 1lt milk bottles. If anyone can bring a small clear bottle that would be good particularly for the babies. Your help will be needed, please, to supervise small items going into the bottles and not into mouths. The Coffee and chat group will also be meeting at the church this Tuesday.

17.01.2022 Hi Playtime family. FYI there is a market day on at Keiraview uniting church today 10:00 - 2:00. Ian and I will be at the plant stall if you are passing pop in and say hello. Jenny

08.01.2022 Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine this weekend. Here's hoping that it is still sunny on Tuesday. We have permission from the church to grow a living cubby house in the playground area. Any suggestions of what would grow quickly for our canopy would be welcomed. The young and young at heart can get inspired by building cubbies out of boxes and bits and pieces this week.

02.01.2022 We have a large increase in the number of families coming to Playtime on Tuesdays, which has been fun, if not a little chaotic. If you can let Jenny know you're coming each week, it will help us manage the morning better. Tomorrow we start to build the frame for our living cubby house; which is more of a tunnel I think. Also, we will have a container to collect food for Wesley meals program as part of our lent theme " living simply, so others can simply live" 6 of our very hungry caterpillars have made cocoons. A slight chance they may come out this week. And if anyone has 1lt empty milk bottles, can you bring them in please( for an activity in the coming weeks)
