17.01.2022 ** VOLUNTEERS WANTED! ** We'd love some help down at the Visitor Information Centre! We have a wonderful, friendly team of volunteers, but could do with a few more coming into the busy summer season. You can choose how many 4 hour shifts a week you do (even one is helpful!), and in exchange you will be provided with a fun, safe, inclusive, flexible, and happy work environment. We have social gatherings, famils to tours and attractions, and monthly meetings that include drinks and nibbles (sometimes with special guests). Don't be scared of the job, all you need is a passion for EDEN! (And enjoy having a chat ). We'll teach you the rest! Pop in and see Clair at the Centre or give her a call on 64961953 for more info.

16.01.2022 The locals are referring to this as a megapod of whales , currently off Haycock Point just north of Eden. Approximately 80-100 whales together, also seen feeding at times. Its hard to find words to describe the experience of being amongst this, but we love Sapphire Coast local Davey Rogers words the most - the smell, noise and movement was a sensory overload. 09.01.2022 Another absolute CRACKERof a day out off Eden today. This years whale season is shaping up to be one for the records, with amazing amounts of whales heading south already! Eden and the Sapphire Coast is one the few places where you can see these majestic creatures actually feeding! These pics are jaw dropping (literally!), clearly showing the baleen of the whale as it lunges to the surface, mouth open and bulging. They’re walking from Cronulla to Wonboyn on a trek that will take in some of the most stunning coastlinesin Australia and total 660km. Lela has 2 children, 4 grand children and 3 great grand children She loves Eden for its natural beauty and slow pace Lela swims for fitness, and is also a member of the local View Club and CWA (and doesn’t mind a sneaky game of bingo on a Thursday morning!)
