25.01.2022 Wharfside Cafe will only open on weekends. This is due to staffing issues. To our regular customers I apologise. These are uncertain times and it is financially not viable to use workers outside of the jobkeeper programme. Cheers, Diana

Please take the time to share (we have had wonderful support via my own business page and I know that will continue. The support from the above mentioned will be of tremendous assistance. 13.01.2022 Hi everyone, We will be opening on the 4th June now that travel has been given the go ahead. We will of course follow every safety guideline to keep our staff and customers as safe as possible. In the coming weeks, we will have decided what days we will open and perhaps a night of two, I’ll let you all know. Look forward to seeing everyone and start rebuilding our lives together.... Cheers, Diana and staff See more

13.01.2022 During the Victorian-NSW school holidays, Wharfside cafe will be doing take-away from our menu on Saturday and Sunday. Outdoor seating is available keeping in mind seating restrictions. Cheers, Diana and staff

12.01.2022 Wharfside Cafe will remain closed until the end of June. The bushfires hit the wharf precinct harshly, we barely had time to recover our losses, and now Covid-19, so until income can potentially cover running costs, we shall stay closed. We will asses the situation along the way, and make changes if and when we feel the time is right. Cheers, Diana and staff.

11.01.2022 Wharfside Cafe will cease trading until further notice. Crown land gave me a special permit to trade until 11th October, I decline the NOT so generous offer. To... purchase supplies and serve the public, I need security of tenure. Any purchased items not sold, would be wastage. No lease extensions mean I am not willing to extend my loans to trade out of bushfire and COVID-19. Wharfside Cafe was a business that was looking forward to successfully surviving bushfires and COVID, and was in a position to do so. There is a meeting on the 6th of October. If leases aren’t resolved and a solution to revitalise the building, I shall consider my options.
