11.01.2022 Are you a local Frankston or Melbourne artist with experience of Street Art? If so, you might like to express interest in being included in the 2019 Big Picture Festival to be held in Frankston city centre from the 18th to the 24th of March 2019. Frankston City Council and the festival curators are seeking Expressions of Interest from street artists, muralists or sign writers who are either currently residents of Frankston, have previously been residents or who have an affi...liation/love for Frankston to create an artwork on selected walls during the 2019 festival. This is a wonderful opportunity for three artists who will be paid a fee of $3,000 to complete their artworks during the festival alongside a number of highly experienced Street Artists from interstate and overseas. The only things you need to provide are your paints and materials and be available during the Festival week. Go to the link below for more information and to download the EOI form. https://artscentre.frankston.vic.gov.au//Calling_all_Stree

05.01.2022 Check out this great opportunity for local guitarists! --- Do you have guitar dreams? Ever wanted to live out your best Slash on the Hamer Hall stage? Well - here's your chance! THOSE WHO ROCK is a free opportunity for local guitarists to join in on an epic guitar chorus, which will have a final performance onstage on March 24. To participate, you need to attend at least 2 rehearsals, which are happening at Cube 37 over the next month (February 17, 24, 27 and March 16). We had the first one on Saturday and it certainly went off! For more information on how to participate, see the website below.
