20.01.2022 61 Shooters enjoyed beautiful weather at Edgehill for the 75 DTL Cup. Ben Butcher took out Overall shooting it clean. Congratulations and a warm hearted thanks to all that came and shared the day with us. Mark Evans, Phil House and Neil Suckling shared AA Grade... A Grade 1st Nick Gilligan, 2nd Graham Evans and 3rd Wayne Kuser after a shoot off with Waldo Hussie and Tom-Corrin Starkey. B Grade 1st Julian Higham, 2nd John Walton and 3rd Chris Moffat. C Grade 1st Mason Bowles, 2nd Paul Murphy and 3rd Neill Stewart. Ladies 1st Sandra Moffatt, 2nd Michelle Bowles and 3rd Katrina Smith. Veterans 1st Jon Dyas, 2nd Mike Daden and 3rd Les Caleb James Davidson. Special thanks to Corey House for the sweet sponsorship of 1st and 2nd in each Grade/ Category of fresh caught Crayfish. With all our heart thank you for a great day.

18.01.2022 Mike Staub won the Kevin Childs Shield shoot at Augusta Gun Club today after a shoot off with Waldo Hussie. Well done boys great work from both of you. Kevin was made a life member of Edgehill in 1984. It was great to get a picture of him with some of our youngest members.

17.01.2022 It was a great 2 days at Collie for their Skeet Carnival. Congratulations to all the winners and I’d like to make a special mention of our Junior boys that did a fantastic job. Mason Michelle Bowles took out the Junior High Gun. Well done mate. ... Harlem and Mike Staub got a prize pick up. Top effort Harlem,considering it’s only your third time shooting Skeet. Look out Dad. With Ian Porter taking out the District Handicap and picking up his 50 break badge. Nice work mate, your hard work is paying off nicely. Ben Butcher took out the Night Flash Targets shooting it clean. Please remember to spread the word, Edgehill will be holding our very last Skeet shoot on Saturday 2nd of November. 1 pm Start. Everyone is more than welcome to join us.



15.01.2022 Edgehill Clay Target Club would like to invite all of our friends and family to shoot our very last Skeet shoot at Edgehill Saturday 2nd November 1 PM Start. 75 Edgehill Skeet Cup. It has long been said, if you can shoot skeet at Edgehill you can shoot it anywhere. ... Don’t miss out on the opportunity to come and try for yourself. It is unfortunate we are winding Edgehill up but like all good things it is our memories that will long continue in the future. Let’s make it the best Skeet shoot ever. Hope to see you all there. There will be a lovely spread for smoko and plenty of drinks afterwards.

14.01.2022 As part of Edgehill finishing up we have decided to share our equipment throughout Zone 6 and beyond. Here is a mad keen Junior taking the first couple of shots in Augusta, who received our Canterbury Voice Release system to complement their Laporte Skeet layout. Jessica Price we hope you and the crew down there enjoy it, from all of us at Edgehill.



11.01.2022 It appears that most of the Edgehill Members are going to join Collie. I’d like you to invite all that have liked our page to join Collie Clay Target Club page. It is the wish from Collie Club that we become one Club and they will value any input from any member that joins. ... All of Edgehill major shoots will continue at Collie and for the Edgehill programmed shoots next year Collie has agreed to keep all shoots happening as long as they don’t clash with other Zone 6 or State shoots. It’s going to be a great year and we hope to have a pleasant transition and take a great Club to another great Club. I look forward to our Zone 6 battles and all the comradeship this sport has to offer. We will have a informative meeting on the 14th of December at our Closed Club Shoot. I’d like to see as many members as possible there to get a photo of us all. If anyone has any questions feel free to message me and I’ll gladly help out.

10.01.2022 Edgehill Members. I would really like if we could all come together for a Club photo. Now I understand this may be harder to plan than a Zone 6 shoot, but it would be really good to get us all together. ... Please put forward some dates and times that we would or could possibly get together to enable us to do this. I know we won’t get everybody to the last shoot so maybe we can make it a mid week afternoon meeting or something similar. Let’s make this happen.

09.01.2022 The weather is shaping up to be a cracking beautiful day for the Edgehill 75DTL Cup on Saturday. Please spread the word that this will be the last time DTL will be shot as a Competition at Edgehill. With the numbers expected, I’d like to kick the event off at 12 noon instead of 1pm as stated in the program book. ... Both layouts will be available for practice from 10:30 to 11:30 As always there will be plenty to eat so bring the family for a great afternoon. Hope to see you all there.

07.01.2022 Saturday the 2nd November. The LAST time Skeet will be shot at Edgehill. Spread the word, bring a friend. Bring your girlfriend, bring your wife, shoot for free if you bring both. ... Young or old, marriedor single there is no other place you should be at. It would be great to see as many there as possible. Last chance to get your name on the Edgehill Skeet Cup shot at Edgehill. Weather will be beautiful , smoko on offer that’ll be sure to satisfy and plenty of drinks available. Hope to see you all there. As part of closing the club I’d like everyone to remain for a photo after the shoot.



05.01.2022 For those who do not know we have lost an absolute gentleman. Jimmy was a wonderful member and a great all round bloke. With much love, goodbye ol boy. ... Friends and Family are invited to say our goodbyes to Jimmy at the Bunbury Crematorium at 1pm on Thursday followed with a wake at the Dolphin Discovery Centre.

05.01.2022 48 Shooters were treated to Edgehills finest Skeet targets for our 75 Skeet Cup. Great effort by our younger shooters. It was great to see everyone there enjoying themselves. ... It’s with great sadness Edgehill is closing but with the turn up of supporters Our sport is in great hands. Ben Butcher took out overall with 72/75 Tim Bowman AA with 70/75 Jon Dyas A 71/75 Jimmy Pinckney B 69/75 Waldo Hussie C 68/75 Martin Perry Veterans 66/75 Mason Bowles Junior 59/75 Our next shoot is on the 23rd of November 75 DTL Cup. Come and enjoy our very last open shoot.

01.01.2022 Good day to all of our Members. As we are currently in a Total Fire Ban we are at great risk to the surrounding Properties, our Local Community and the Clubs responsibility’s if we were to continue our Shoot today. I have been advised from the relevant authorities to not go ahead with the Shoot. ... It’s not the way any of us would want to finish up. Still by all means please join us for a goodbye drink and a chat with some of the best good ol boys in the South West. We have our new Club shirts and it would be great to get a photo of us all together. I look forward to seeing you all there. Thanks kindly, Ben Butcher.
