25.01.2022 Its that time again! Pre-season training will kick off for the Edgewater Cricket Club on the 22nd of August. This will be quite a packed pre-season with several exciting prospects to get us underway for what is shaping to be an exciting season ahead. Thursday - August 29th - Kingsway Cricket Sheds @ 7:00 (1 hour session) Thursday - September 5th - Kingsway Cricket Sheds @ 7:00 (1 hour session) OUTDOOR TRAINING: Weekly training on Tuesdays and Thursdays commencing the 10th of September at the Emerald Park cricket nets @ 4:30pm. 25.01.2022 Congratulations goes to Dennis Chester for being our inaugural darts competition winner! He managed to make it through the four rounds and knock out Michael Pendlebury in the grand final match. A big thank you goes out to Bradley Westcott for organising the night, Chris Westcott for creating the application that managed the scoring and fixture and to David Moir and Michael Pendlebury for bringing down their dart boards. 25.01.2022 It's with great sadness to write that today is Roy Boulay's last game, as he has decided to hang up the boots and retire after playing over 60 years of cricket. Roy's cricketing career is the tale of the journeyman that was packed full of highlights even before making his way to Edgewater Cricket Club. Roy had the opportunity to play at a number of clubs, including being the 2nd XI keeper at Melville Cricket Club where Dennis Lillie was his coach! He also enjoyed a few season...s of cricket in New Zealand as well. When Roy finally made it to Edgewater Cricket Club at the spritely age of 63, he made a big impact on the club and everyone he played with. Over the 10 years Roy has been at Edgewater he has continued to put on a master class behind the stumps with 94 catches and 8 stumpings. When he was asked to take the keeping gloves off, he also knew how to spin a web with career best figures of 4/12. Roy has also had two seasons of captaining the 3rd XI, and has served a number of years on the committee including two years as bar manager. To celebrate Roy's cricketing career please get on down to Edgewater Cricket Club after the game today. It has been an absolute pleasure having Roy at Edgewater Cricket Club and we all hope we are able to have a long and successful like his.

24.01.2022 Today we are celebrating a historic milestone in our clubs history with Dennis Chester being our first player to reach 350 games. During this time he has amassed over 7800 runs including 36 half centuries and 3 centuries. He has also been instrumental in the premierships we have won given he has been in 8 of our 22 senior premierships. He has also made significant contributions off the field with over 20 years of service on the committee. This has included coaching junior teams, being the club registrar, vice president and president. Please join us after the game today back at Edgewater Cricket Club to celebrate this milestone and congratulate Dennis for all the contributions he has made and the success he has brought to us!

24.01.2022 This Saturday we are celebrating a major milestone with club legend Neil Fowler reaching his 250th game for Edgewater Cricket Club! During this time he has amassed over 5800 runs, including 33 half centuries and 2 centuries, with a top score of 142*. He has also achieved 112 catches for the club, in which many were the sharpest slip catches you will ever see. Neil will be playing at Edgar Griffiths Park in Wanneroo this Saturday from 1PM, and we will be celebrating his milestone back at Edgewater Cricket Club from 6PM. Congratulations Neil on this wonderful achievement, and we hope to see you all Saturday to help him celebrate this milestone.

The questions are ready, the fridges are full and the prizes are ready to be won :) just a reminder that our doors will be open at 7pm and we will be looking to kick off from 7:30pm. We do have chips and nuts that can be purchased over the bar but you can also bring your own food. We also recommend using both car parks available as it will be a packed house! We will be also be running mini games, silent auctions and raffles throughout the night. Wev...e got both cash and EFTPOS facilities available too. We have received so many generous donations and prizes from the community which we could not be more thankful for! 03.01.2022 Our Patrons Cup T20 campaign kicks off today! We are taking on Warwick Greenwood at Penistone Park with our game starting at 3PM. It would be great to see lots of Edgewater supporters down to cheer the guys on :) hope to see you there!
