17.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW? If your child is over 5 years old you can register for both "Active Kids" and "Creative Kids" vouchers through Service NSW. These give you $100 to... use towards physical activity and creative activity. It's easy to apply online & then you can use them for many things! With Active Kids; You can use them to subsidise the cost of something your child already attends (for us it was gymnastics at the PCYC), or use the online search option to find someone near you who provides an activity your child would be interested in. With Creative Kids there are lots of options so the best idea is to work out if you want to do something like a local art/culture workshop or whether you just want to use it on art/craft materials. You can search for local providers near you for activities to do or can use it to buy "art kits" online via registered websites. The best packs I have found online are "Craft Kids" and "Craft Nation". You just pop your voucher number in at the checkout and the order is free. Then the supplies arrive and you get to enjoy creating with your kiddies! I wanted to share this ahead of holiday time when you may be looking for activities to do - these can save you money and you get two vouchers per year - I think it's a great initiative.
