19.01.2022 We have just returned from Melbourne after amazing success at PSI DJWTS ! Our beautiful mare PHP Sophia ( Sir Donnerhall / Weltruhm) has just won the 6 yo Aust...ralian Young Dressage Horse Championship very convincingly winning both rounds resolutely with her rider Emma Hayward. PHP Sahara ( Sir Donnerhall/Anamour) also won the Consolation Round of the 5 year old Championship judged by Mary Seefried after being a little overawed by the occasion in her first test not assisted by a severe Melbourne Thunderstorm ! This is such a proud moment for our Stud and of course I would like to thank so many people who have contributed to this achievement. A huge thank you to our wonderful rider Emma Hayward who commenced riding this mare a few months after she was started by the amazing Matt Welch. Emma rode so beautifully on Sophia and demonstrated her correct training,harmony and rideability. She works with me tirelessly to produce our horses and it is wonderful when this adherence to the training scale is recognised in this way. A huge thank you to Adam Reiss who has worked with Emma both in Perth and Victoria in preparation for the Competition. Thanks also to Ricky Macmillan for her help as always. We had the most incredible support from Wayne Kiely of Combined Horse Transport who provided such an amazing service and gave us personally the benefit of his wealth of knowledge and experience. We are eternally grateful to him. I would like to thank Emmas partner Kane Rudrum who drove across the Nullabor with his vehicle so that we could be mobile once in Victoria...he was also an amazing back up groom and support for our team. Thanks to Deborah Ambrosini who loaned us her Float and provided wonderful support to Emma in Victoria. We are also very grateful to David Shoobridge for allowing our horses to stay at his beautiful property in Lancefield and for his support of Emma Hayward. I cannot thank my Head Girl Emma Regan enough for her devotion and meticulous attention to Sophia and Sahara. I could not do what we do without her.Thanks to Sue Hobcraft and to Emily Day who looked after the stud while we were away. 18.01.2022 So thrilled that this super rising 4 year old filly with exemplary breeding has been sold to the most wonderful home. Heidi Emery from Hermitage Dressage fell in love with this filly as a yearling and just had to come and see her when she had been under saddle just six weeks, which is when this video was taken. Naturally we were thrilled for Heidi and her experienced team continue the training of this super talent. Hermitage Dressage and Penny Hill Park have very similar training philosophies and we couldnt be happier for Legacy to go to such a great home. Thanks to Matt Welsh who started Legacy and to Emma Hayward for her initial training.

Yesterday winning the Overall Elementary and Advanced Championships at Brookleigh and today with Sahara winn...ing the Elementary at Gidgegannup Dressage Club show with over 74%! Such a lovely show in gorgeous Gidge where our Stud is located.Beautiful ambience and lots of familiar faces. The Harry Boldt Awa...rd is won by the combination with the Highest score for the year from Advanced to Grand Prix at Brookleigh Dressage Club competitions. Harry Boldt Award 2019 Winner is sponsored by Combined Horse Transport with the most wonderful prize, a return trip to the Nationals 2019 to represent WA !! Emma and Sophia consistently scored over 70% in the Advanced classes through out the season with their highest being 73.857 in the 5C. 01.01.2022 Yesterday PHP Tobias ( Totilas/Anamour) went to his wonderful new home with Narelle and Steph. I can honestly say that I could not be happier that this dream for his new owners has come to true. He settled in straight away with a lovely Buddy and seemed to know he was where he was always meant to be....
