25.01.2022 There's only one more sleep to go! Here's a sneak peak of what's planned... It's not everyday one constructs a castle in their driveway. This full walk through experience will be sure to make your Halloween, Halloweens of all Halloweens!

25.01.2022 God’s creative work is complete at the end of the sixth day. The entire universe in all its beauty and perfection was fully formed in six literal, consecutive, 24-hour days. At the completion of His creation, God announces that it is very good... Unfortunately, we still have to wait six weeks in order for us to announce that our creation is very good after what I'm sure will be two consecutive 24 hour days. You don't have to wait 6 weeks to donate though. You can donate here: http://bit.ly/2bwwe2z

25.01.2022 So the verdict is in... With all thanks to you, we managed to raise exactly, $2,650 over the Halloween and Christmas period in 2016 for MS Australia. Thanks to you, your contribution helps provide a range of services and support for those living with MS. Thanks to you, those living with MS and their families get to hold on for just one more day.... I love the power of community! We rise by lifting others - all these small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world! We wish you nothing but the best for 2017!

25.01.2022 We got a shout out in the Inner West Courier last week! It's little wins like this that make all the pressure hurdles along the way worth it. It's also because of YOU, that the word has spread. We couldn't be any more grateful!

24.01.2022 Every year, we spend so much time rushing around trying to get everything done before the big day we forget to take a moment to just absorb our environment. We took a moment to appreciate our own work and take a photo like everyone else!

23.01.2022 Blossom like fresh flowers and spread the sweet fragrance wherever you go. Happy New Year!

23.01.2022 It's been exactly one week since Halloween and we're only just recovering. Thanks to you and your generosity, we were able to raise over $1000! This means that there will be continued support for Shardia and her ongoing education to improve her outlook and opportunity for the future.

22.01.2022 In one week from now, you'll be joining the circus this Halloween by trick-or-treating down Edith Avenue. For every donation made, your contributions will greatly benefit MS Get Involved which means that you will already provide a range of essential services and support for Australians living with multiple sclerosis. You can contribute online and help provide a range of services and support here: http://bit.ly/2bwwe2z

22.01.2022 I’ve had many messages of concerns this week regarding this year’s Halloween (in particular our haunted circus theme). It’s best to make this post to answer a few FAQ and to put an ease to some worried minds In light of recent events concerning creepy clowns and after much deliberation, reorganising and refunding, there will be no clowns, of any sort, present at this year’s Halloween trick-or-treat event. It’s a terrible shame (and very bad timing) that this sort of craze ha...s happened. It’s also very inconvenient that decorations, props and ideas had to be refunded, removed and changed to cater for particular individuals who feel the need to take things that one step too far. With that being said, I do not find it inconvenient to change my plans and ideas 100 times as the safety of guests and children and this is event is my number one priority. To ensure ultimate peace of mind and safety this means that we ask that you reconsider your costume if you /your child are planning to be a clown on this day. If being a clown for Halloween is set in stone and if you/your child will be wearing a mask and/or wig, you will be asked to remove it before entering the front gate we’re not clowning around! We reserve the right at all times to withdraw (or refuse entry to) any attendee and take any action necessary to provide a fun and safe event. Back on a lighter note, just remember that this is happy, exciting event to get the community together to help boost awareness and raise funds for MS Australia. Smiles, memories and helping us help others are the aim! If you have any other questions, queries or concerns, please do not hesitate contact me.

22.01.2022 Christmas might be over but there's still time to come down to Edith Avenue and check out our Christmas light display as we help raise awareness and boost funds for MS Australia.

22.01.2022 Between the donations received on and offline we've raised over $1,950 which means we're at 65% of our $3000 goal. We can't pass on our gratitude enough! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

21.01.2022 Our secret recipe for the Magic Reindeer Food has been a bigger hit than what we expected! To save the panic, we will set up stall each night until Christmas from 6:30/7pm. Each bag costs $2 and is enough it feed all twelve Reindeers as they wait outside for Santa. Magic Reindeer Food isn't available in stores so come down to Edith Avenue, Concord to get your hot little hands on a packet. ... Whilst stock lasts.

21.01.2022 Patience is about counting down without blasting off.

21.01.2022 LETS GET READY TO PAAAAARTAAAAAY!

21.01.2022 As you're all aware, we're raising money for MS Australia! A massive thank you to all those who have donated online already! Thanks to you, you are providing somebody living with MS a range of essential services and support for Australians living with multiple sclerosis. You too can become part of change! Donate here: http://bit.ly/2bwwe2z

20.01.2022 It's show time!

20.01.2022 Thanks to Kimberley Caines for the feature in this weeks issue of The Inner West Courier. Pick up your copy to check it out yourself (page 21). To say the least, this year is going to be awesome!

19.01.2022 It's been a chaotic week and we've spammed your newsfeed with everything Halloween but that was yesterdays news.. 4 weeks until we switch on Christmas lights! Sleep is for the wicked!

19.01.2022 The circus is coming alive this Halloween with all thanks to Planet Entertainment! Planet Entertainment is joining us to give us that real circus feeling. They're providing us with your family favourite sideshow alley games (and prizes!) for the evening. All you have to do is make a gold coin donation to play on the night and try to achieve one of the prize winning scores whilst the clown’s head is rotating side to side!... Win or lose, your donation means we're one step closer to finding a cure for MS. Donate here: http://bit.ly/2bwwe2z

18.01.2022 There's something to excite everyone this year down at Edith Avenue Concord. As last minute preparations are being made and whilst you're talking all things fun with the kids, we ask that you also talk about some serious safety points too!

18.01.2022 Online alone, we've raised $345! We're still busy counting up all the money that was donated on Monday night. Give us a few days we'll be more than happy to announce our grand total!

17.01.2022 Sorry guys, just woke up from a quick nap and all of a sudden it's already 1 week until Halloween. To put at the questions to bed (and to ease up on our inbox congestion), the answer is YES. YES EDITH AVENUE WILL BE CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN AGAIN THIS YEAR!... Here's a sneak peek!

17.01.2022 Last Halloween, you helped in raising over $1,500 for the MS Australia. Thanks to your generosity and passion to raise funds, you have enabled them to continue working towards their mission to finding a cure for MS. This year, we'll be doing the exact same thing but to raise funds and help support a beautiful little girl in Uganda. We've put together a quick overview of how Shardia has already been transformed but how raising money this Halloween will benefit her in the future.

17.01.2022 It's almost time to TRICK OR TREAT! (preferably no tricking, we will have enough to clean up tomorrow morning...) Just to finalise some important details.. Where: Edith Avenue, Concord... When: Trick or Treat after school from 3pm (until late) For the younger, more impressionable crowd, it's best to bring them during daylight to avoid some tears. For the not so faint-hearted, wait until the sun sets. Keeping up with the modern times, we have upped the ante with LED lighting which will enhance a lot of the display. The mix of animatronics, low-lying fog, music and lighting will just blow your mind! See ya then!

16.01.2022 It's the officially the final day for Edith Ave DIFC to raise funds the MS Australia in the race to beat MS. It's not too late to help us reach our goal. Donate online here: http://bit.ly/2bwwe2z

16.01.2022 Continue to help bring Christmas cheer by joining us in our Christmas light display. There's no light show or music, just traditionally decorated homes that want to make you smile.

15.01.2022 There's no greater feeling of accomplishment than to create something using your two hands (and a printer). The beauty of handmade lies in the imperfections.

15.01.2022 In exactly one month from today, hundreds of children and parents will walk down Edith Avenue to come trick-or-treating and to also raise funds and awareness for MS Get Involved! Excited, nervous and scared all at the same time. Keep the momentum going by donating here: http://bit.ly/1JVtJ5w

15.01.2022 Halloween time is finally here, so all you scaredy cats, it's time to fear. For all the evil spirits and witches are now near, Edith Avenue Concord is back for another year!

15.01.2022 We take this moment to wish you and your family all the happiness and joy of Christmas. May you find more smiles on your face this Christmas than ever before!

14.01.2022 Happy Halloween! The big day is finally here! It's really important to ensure that we are all on the same page.... Feel free to come in large groups or by yourself and take as many photos as you like or none at all. Don't forget to bring a gold coin for a donation as we raise funds and awareness for JDRF Australia this year. You may donate as little or as much as you want. This event is about you and making you smile. Just as long as you talk with your goblins about Halloween safety and how simple precautions can make it a fun and safe night for all.

13.01.2022 It was a busy weekend in Edith Avenue over the weekend. Painting. Hammering. Building. Measuring. So much to do, so little time... Although, creating and filling these trick or treat bags was quite therapeutic.

12.01.2022 Don't worry, Planet Entertainment is also looking after the older kids as well. Skunk Shootout is a new twist on an old carnival favourite. Use the rubber balls to knock down the targets and WIN A PRIZE. This classic carnival game is guaranteed to keep you entertained for a while. Keep the support going and donate here: http://bit.ly/2bwwe2z

12.01.2022 It's really important to ensure that we are all on the same page. The big day has has practically arrived and can already feel the ambition rising. Make note that this event is *Trick or Treat* only! (preferably just treat but a trick [like that kid with the sneaky hand zapper] or two within reason won't hurt) Feel free to come in large groups or by yourself, take as many photos as you like or none at all and donate as little or as much as you want.... This event is about you and making you smile. Just as long as you talk with your goblins about Halloween safety and how simple precautions can make it a fun and safe night for all.

09.01.2022 If you saw our houses on Weekend Sunrise yesterday (from a few years ago) then that’s just a taste of what’s to come. Bigger and better things are in store with only 2 sleeps to go!

09.01.2022 It's been such a busy time over the last few months. We genuinely can't thank you enough for all your visits, help, support and donations. It's such a shame in just a few short days we need to pack everything up and become a plain Jane house again.

09.01.2022 5 years ago when we held our very first money raising trick or treat event, we raised $466 for the Cancer Council. As each year grew, so did the public response allowing our street to raise more and more money each year for several charities. Since then, thanks to you, we have raised a over $8,500 and this year will be no different. This year, we will be raising funds and awareness for JDRF Australia! (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). JDRF are Australia’s largest chari...table supporter of type 1 diabetes research. There are over 120,000 children and adults in Australia with type 1 diabetes. More than 6 people in Australia are newly diagnosed every day and the incidence of the disease is rising. Fifty per cent of all diagnoses of type 1 diabetes occur in children under the age of 15. Be sure to come in and join the fun this Wednesday as we help to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, treat, and prevent type 1 diabetes.

07.01.2022 Once upon a time, this was a dining room... (and these are only the props that could fit inside). Don't let this deceive you though, no tickets will need to be purchased for you to come and play but a donation instead would help provide a range of essential services and support for Australians living with multiple sclerosis. Donate here: http://bit.ly/2bwwe2z

06.01.2022 Between the donations received on and offline we've raised over $1,950 which means we're almost near the end of our $3000 goal. If you wish to get involved, and you haven't already, it's not too late to donate online. Your contribution helps provide a range of services and support for those living with MS. ... 04.01.2022 Note: Unlike every other year, this year may be slightly toned down (in regards to set up) compared to previous year and what the community knows us for. Due to work and personal commitments (as well as house renovations), we are unable to celebrate Halloween in the big over the top manner like we usually do.... Rest assured though, we will still be getting into the spirit just not to the extent we are known for. Hope to see you there!

03.01.2022 You're probably doing the last minute dash for Halloween over the weekend so whilst you're talking all things fun with the kids, be sure to talk about these few serious points too!

03.01.2022 Now that Halloween is over, the Christmas season will consume our lives for the next couple of months. Like last year, help bring Christmas cheer by joining us in our Christmas light display. There's no light show or music, just traditionally decorated homes that want to make you smile.

02.01.2022 Hopefully this will also reassure some worried parents!

02.01.2022 Been MIA recently but back on track! Come on down and take your photo in the wreath and help up raise funds and awareness for MS Australia!

01.01.2022 In the first year for collecting money for charity on Halloween we raised $466.70. Being the first year, inexperienced and young(er), not knowing what would happen in the years to come, we thought that was the best thing ever. Nothing could ever take away the feeling of raising $466.70. If that was that feeling then, a few years later, how do we explain this feeling? I cannot believe that we managed to raise $1,558.95 for MS Australia in just 5 hours! All your small change w...ill (and has already) make a big change. If you wish to still get involved, it's not too late to donate online. Your contribution helps provide a range of services and support for those living with MS.
