25.01.2022 Hello All. I would appreciate your thoughts and opinions on the following. If you were to search online for someone to put together a video for a funeral you were organising from photos of your loved one, what words/phrases would you search for?

20.01.2022 Easing of NSW COVID-19 restrictions from Monday 1 June 2020, up to 50 people may attend a funeral or memorial service. The limit to the number of people who may attend includes adults and children and excludes the people necessary to conduct the service or assist in the conduct of the service such as the funeral director and their staff. People attending the service will be required to supply their name and contact details so that they can be used for contact tracing.... 16.01.2022 I read a quote the other day that said "Be Happy! Not because everything is good, but because you can see the good in everything." It really resonated with me because that's pretty much been my philosophy with life, a philosophy I gained that from my sensational Dad. In this day and age where it seems like so many things seem wrong in the world, (bushfires and drought in NSW in particular as I write this in December 2019), it is very easy to get caught up and influenced by th...e never-ending bad news. It's like if you buy a red car, you tend to see lots more red cars on the road ... if you're looking for bad news, you will see lots more of it. Well, if you look for the GOOD in things, you will see LOTS more of it too :) Theodor Seuss Geisel wrote and illustrated more than 60 books under the pen name of Dr Seuss. Many of his most famous books were written as Children's books and some of them contained some very beautiful and positive messages. In keeping with my thoughts on 'looking for the GOOD in things', here are 6 Dr Suess Quotes of Positivity. 1) To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world. 2) You’ll miss the best things if you keep your eyes shut. 3) Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. 4) Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened. 5) Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is you-er than you. 6) Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

10.01.2022 Easing of restrictions from Friday 15 May 2020. From Friday 15 May, indoor funerals up to 20 mourners, outdoor funerals up to 30 will be allowed in NSW. Exemptions for funerals... Exemptions are only considered where there are strong health or compassionate grounds to justify the exemption. Exemptions are generally granted where the number of immediate family members exceeds 20 people for an indoor service or 30 people for an outdoor service. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, applications will only be considered for small number of additional attendees where those attendees are from households already represented in the funeral party. It is important to allow sufficient time for the application to be considered. Ideally applications should be made at least 48 hours prior to the funeral, although NSW Health acknowledges that there may be situations where this is not possible. For more information from the NSW Govt. go to https://www.health.nsw.gov.au//P/gathering-exemptions.aspx

05.01.2022 From Wednesday, July 1st 2020, the maximum number of people who may attend a funeral is the maximum number of people allowed on the premises, which is one person per 4 square metres. Places of public worship, funeral homes or crematoriums can have up to 50 attendees (without the 4 square metre rule) provided non-household contacts can maintain 1.5 metres of physical distance. Funerals at a place of residence can have the greater of 50 people or one person per 4 squar...e metres of space. People attending the service will be required to supply their name and contact details so that they can be used for contact tracing.
