22.01.2022 Hi to all I know everyone has been very anxious to hear about Edrom Lodge, as it is very close to a lot people’s heart as well as my own and our families. To my own astonishment, amazement and what I witnessed on Saturday night i am pleased to announce it is still standing, it is the only thing that has survived on the property even with the fires lapping at walls, literally!!!! Even though the house is still there it’s still going to be a long road to recovery and I truly ...hope everyone can understand. My family and I are all safe and are still trying to come to terms with what has just happened and what is going to happen, exactly how everyone is feeling going through the same thing. I am literally still in shock that it is still standing, they definitely don’t build homes like this one these days. It would have to be one of the most special historical homes in Australia!!! 14.01.2022 It’s been 4weeks since Beautiful Edrom Lodge took on the Border Fire and Survived, even though it still stands it’s going to be a long road to recovery. Edrom lodge has some amazing history and we have met some very amazing people through our own journey, living and running this beautiful property. In 110years and even more now, Edrom lodge has shown how amazingly special it is.... Edrom has proven to us that It is NOT A PARTY HOUSE, it is a place to build memories and enjoy the serenity it has to offer. Edrom DESERVES more RESPECT now than it ever has before!!! 2019 was not an easy year for us personally and the beginning of 2020 hasn’t been much better for so many people in so many ways. Many beautiful, amazing groups and people have had to give up their bookings and some have gone above and beyond to help our family through this devastation. The kindness, generosity and friendship we have been shown is beyond words. THANK YOU is just not enough!!! Edrom lodge has and will always have a very special place in many peoples hearts (which has been strongly shown in the last few weeks). especially ours and in more ways than I can explain! As I said THANK YOU just isn’t enough Who knows what the future holds, at this point in time the focus is taking one day at a time. Love and kindness to all Shannon and Nerrida

06.01.2022 Hi to all I am the new manager out at Edrom lodge and would just like to let everyone know that we are more than happy to show people through the house if they wishing to hire it, but it is by APPOINTMENT ONLY!!! You must ring before coming out, we have guest hiring the whole facility and their safety and privacy is of the up most importance, so we can’t just have people turning up. Please don’t tell people they can just come out here, you need to ring first! I am wanting ...to do more open days for everyone to enjoy this beautiful property and I’ll keep you posted.
