25.01.2022 Round 2 done - we are on our way! Thank you Holmesdale for your support with a venue when Trinity had a globe-out issue. That went so well teams are asking to play the whole season there! These courts will be used again this week, with Div 4 teams ETKG and Trinity Gardens playing at Holmesdale. Stay tuned regarding the rest of the season. A big reminder to all team managers - after you have entered your result into Match Centre, do not forget your Les Semmens vote! At this point (Tuesday) only 48 out of a possible 111 have been done. 24.01.2022 THANK YOU TO ALL THE PLAYERS WHO PLAYED IN THE LES TAPP CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO WON AND WELL PLAYED TO ALL OTHERS Well done also to the 10/u girls who nearly made it to 2nd and had to play boys teams all the way through. Losing 2 sudden deaths at 5 all was the only difference. Girl Power hey!... A special note for the 14/u boys who went through the tournament undefeated without losing any sets - singles or doubles. Well done boys - Champs! All results are in Match Centre. Thank you for all the help I received to get the teams together and to all Team Managers, Parents and Players on the day.

24.01.2022 Due to recent COVID restrictions, all junior matches in the EDTA will not take place this upcoming Friday or Saturday 20/21 November. The EDTA will be advised early in the following week if matches can go ahead the following weekend, Tennis SA will advise all clubs accordingly. Stay safe everyone, hopefully we can be back on the court before long!

21.01.2022 Les Tapp Inter-Association information - Please see the event guide. Woodville Orion is at Oval Ave., Woodville. https://goo.gl/maps/DhMSFgFnf5G9XFiu7 The dates are in the Event Guide sent earlier. The times there are for all sessions times but each team will not necessarily use all times. Once the draw is done you will be able to see when your team is required. All the sessions shown will be shared between all age groups.... I have been promised the draw by late Monday or early Tuesday. I will pass this on as soon as it is sent to me. The order of merit for the teams in not yet fixed but will be submitted to the organizers prior to the start so I can move players up or down in order of merit if necessary. Barb

Senior Presentations will be held in the Rostrevor Clubrooms on Monday night commencing at 7.30. See you there winning teams from Rostrevor, Campbelltown, ETKG, Mercedes OC, Glenunga and St Peters. 18.01.2022 *Reminder to all clubs and venue supervisors* Tonight is the start of using QR Codes to check in at tennis venues. Children who are with their parents/guardian are not required to check in. In this scenario, the parent checks in and if required, the contact tracers will follow up and ask the appropriate questions to ascertain if children were also present.... If a parent does not accompany the child, the child needs to sign in manually using the paper recording log. This paper recording log needs to be kept for 28 days and a new form should be used every day. A coach can record this information if required. Good luck to everyone playing tonight!

12.01.2022 Thanks to all players who represented Eastern Districts in the Les Tapp Inter-Association event which wound up today. From our gallant team of 8-9 year old girls who when the 10/u Girls event was cancelled played up in the 12s. It wasnt easy for them but they tried so hard and will be better for the experience. The 10/u Boys were really great against stiff competition and were very worthy runners-up. The 14/u Blue team also very worthy runners-up, with the red team also pla...ying well, but with not quite the success. Our 12/u girls were great and nearly made it to 2nd. But what can you say about the 12/u boys. 6 matches, 6 wins, all sets won with most either to love or 1. Wow! 05.01.2022 EDTA Blue d Southern Blue in the final if the 13/u Compass Draw held 18th November winning 7 - 1. Held at the Seacliff Tennis Club Emily, Alexandria, Michael S and Aiden were undefeated through 4 rounds. Great tennis kids - you were awesome - we have some great talent here. Our Red team were pretty good too with only 1 loss and that to our own Blue team, Shreya, Nikhita, Hugh and Michael C. They received the consolation win for their runners up group. Well done EASTERN, a great day all round.

Do not contact the Management Committee as the Website and Facebook will be the only means necessary to advise. On Friday evenings if the current temperature at 5.00 pm. as shown on the BOM website is... 38 or higher all matches are automatically cancelled. If the current temperature is 37 (37.0) or less players must attend their venue. The Supervisor will monitor the temperature and matches may commence, no later than 6.30 pm. if the temperature is below 37 (37.0).
