19.01.2022 Day 2 saw us heading out on to the reef visiting Green Island. We had a big but amazing day and the weather was great as well. We were welcomed on to Green Island before heading off on our ecology boardwalk tour with an indigenous interpretation. At Marineland we saw some large crocodiles who have been permanent residents there for awhile. On the Glass Bottom Boat we got to see fish, corals and even a giant clam up close. Our snorkel tour with the marine biologists was definitely the highlight being able to find and identify so many species of fish and other animals on the reef. Definitely a great day out on the Reef.

18.01.2022 A great visit to the Daintree National Park. The worlds oldest tropical rainforest. We walked through the treetops at the Daintree Discovery Centre. Amazing.

18.01.2022 Its always an honour to be able to attend the Last Post Closing Ceremony at the Australian War Memorial with our touring schools. Its even more memorable when the Federation Guard are on duty.

17.01.2022 We couldnt make it down to the ANZAC Day services in Canberra this year but it was so nice to see so many people standing in their driveways around where we live to remember those who served, those who are still serving, and the families who support them. Lest We Forget

17.01.2022 We are beyond excited to have a group heading to Cairns today. Although the borders to down south are still closed, our beautiful state of Queensland is open and has so many places on offer so weve put together a Reef & Rainforest Tour. We have quite a few schools doing this tour through out term 4 as well. Keep and eye out for our posts on what the Reef & Rainforest Tour has to offer your school for the future also

10.01.2022 time for a staff meeting ! Last visit to The Office for term 2... with another one of our wonderful NSW schools! Well we had to do something while the kids are off hobnobbing with the politicians!... Our kids and teachers were lucky enough to experience a surprise on their Parliament House tour.... they were chaperoned away into the restricted areas of Parliament House with their local member to visit the Speakers Office. A rare treat for the kids.

10.01.2022 A special visit to Government House as we witnessed 2 ambassadors presenting their credentials to our Governor General. The pomp and ceremony is an amazing sight that few get to witness

10.01.2022 Weve been so busy that we havent even had time to add posts for awhile. Sorry to those who are following us. This week took us out to the Canberra Deep Space Communications Centre at Tidbinbilla where i havent been out there for awhile. It was great to learn about future space missions which will lead up to more moon landings in 2024.

10.01.2022 Day 1 of our inaugural Reef & Rainforest Tour was a huge success. Were lucky enough to be travelling with a great group of students and teachers who are all enjoying the experience too! After a 2 1/2 hour flight we made it to Cairns and it wasnt long before we were at our first venue the Cairns Aquarium. Guess what? We found Nemo! the educators here were amazing and explained all about he reef, ecosystems etc and we got to see so many different fish, sharks etc as well a...s reptiles. Even a hands on session which most enjoyed. We then headed off to Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome. Here we experienced the Mid Zoom course and other ropes, zip lines, vertical jumps etc. some faced their fear of heights today as well which was amazing (dont worry everyone is safe and well harnessed etc). We also had a talk with the educators about the local wildlife and the changing environments within this area of Australia. We even got to meet Goliath the 4.1m crocodile . Our evening finished with a visit from Marie who is the marine biologist taking us out on to the reef tomorrow. We talked about the reef and safety procedures etc in preparation for another busy day tomorrow See more

01.01.2022 Hi everyone. We hope that everyone is well and staying safe in these trying times. We started our touring season early this year back in February, but have come to a holt due to this horrible Covid-19. All tours up to the end of June have now been postponed with a couple cancelled completely. Our term 3 & 4 schedule is now extremely busy and we are all hoping and praying that this nightmare will all be over enough for us to travel without any fear. We hope that everyone stays happy, healthy and safe. Take care of each other and remember- dont go out unless its really necessary. Social distancing is important for everyone to get rid of Covid-19 and keep all Australians safe.
