12.01.2022 Dear VCE students, as the end of the year exam is approaching, stress and anxiety is also increasing among many students. The best way to cope with stress these days is to plan well, manage time and learn smart. If you have missed important concepts of chemistry due to COVID-19 and want to go over important concepts, I can help you with that. I am teaching chemistry for over 20 years now, and I am registered teacher in Melbourne.

08.01.2022 LAST MONTH EXAM PREPARATION TIPS: 1. Aim to solve 35 to 40 chemistry trial exams under exam conditions in one sitting. 2. After you have completed a trial exam, do not attempt the second exam until you have completely analysed and learned from the mistakes of previous trial exam. 3. Divorce your mobiles/devices for 1 month - You can patch-up with your devices once your exams are over. 4. Make sure to eat healthy food these days- lots of fresh vegies, fruits, nuts, heathy prot...eins and enough water. 5. Stay focused- just one more month. 6. At this time of the year, you should be doing trials exams whole day (4-5 trials exams including marking, analysis). 7. Surround yourself with positive people. Yes, you can do it, you can achieve your target study score. Strictly avoid people who demotivate you or make you lose the focus. 8. Make sure to have 7-8 hours sleep the night before the exam. 9. Must have a light breakfast on the day of exam. 10. During the exam, do all you can do . Do not waste time for questions you are unable to do. You will have good revision of topics when you do all other questions you know, and come back to the difficult ones later on. You will be able to better recall then. 11. Do not use brand new calculator, or pens on the day. Buy now, get used to your calculator now. 12. Make yourself familiarise with VCAA chemistry data book. Know what is given and what is not given in the data book. 13. When you are doing trial exams, during marking do read the assessors comments.
