25.01.2022 It's almost Easter and chocolate eggs are out in full-force! Our furry friends also find Chocolate delicious just as we do, so it is super important that we are keeping our chocolate delights out of reach of prying animal eyes! (and mouths!) Chocolate contains Theobromine and caffeine, which are both toxic to Cats and Dogs as they can't metabolise these as well as humans can. Dark chocolate poses a higher risk than Milk chocolate. Signs of chocolate toxicity may include vom...iting, diarrhoea, seizures, tremors, and a coma-like state. If you suspect that your furry friend has ingested chocolate, please give us a call straight away on 03)9842 8833!
