13.01.2022 I beat the cold, but didn't drink enough water I'm definitely all for training hard, but this morning I came to a screeching halt Turns out I was completely dehydrated from cold and flu medication I had taken at night. This was not pretty, my deadlifts went up with ease and I was feeling then the squats came along and what I would normally warm up with felt like I was aiming for a new PR. 07.01.2022 CHALLENGE YOURSELF No trick photography here guys, on the left was my "situation" prior to signing up for the Max's Challenge, weighing 79kg. I WAS active and training, but I never had a clear goal to chase and was merely going through the motions and a routine week in and week out. On the right I was sitting at 84kg and whole lot leaner, it is possible to put on size and lean off in a 12 week period, I am proof of that!

05.01.2022 Mix things up After a couple of months of strength training, I noticed things 1. I was getting stronger...this was good ... 2. I stored more body fat....this was bad Now I'm no expert, but I put it down to the high calorie diet, paired with my extended rest period between working sets session after session..and my complete an utter abuse of livin la vida Donut Yes, if I had eaten cleaner, things might be different I've always done "bodybuilding" styled training, that usually focuses around isolations, volume and more volume! This gets your rate up and in turn, gets you burning fat What's my point?: Do both! 04.01.2022 I've had a few people ask me about my back routine and how often I train back, the exercises I do etc... I train each muscle group twice a week. My back has developed quite well, as I feel as though I get the best mind Muscle connection. If you're struggling to activate the muscle or get a pump in the muscle you're trying to develop.
