15.01.2022 A number of years ago I did a Reno and rebuild for one of my special clients. We removed a large structural beam and replaced it with s steel beam. The timber one was too good to throw out and today we cleaned it up and it will go back in a home frame this week

12.01.2022 Had to go back to the Mornington job to do a little touch up and tidy up work for the owners and took the opportunity to take some front entry/yard shots to share, the owners have done a great job
11.01.2022 I looked at this site the other day and realised I hadn’t put up any photos of our finished kitchen...well... some good features I’d do again Built in wine rack, LED lighting under overheads and inside the bigger cupboards, hot/cold purified water tap in the bench, good sized oven, soft close draws, rolla cabinet for appliances and a two drawer dishwasher, the glass splash back is an actual photo taken underwater in the Bahamas I think.
11.01.2022 The old pine lined kitchen is out. Remember friends, this is the most expensive room in the house.
10.01.2022 Things we don’t see in new buildings anymore, flashings in internal corners, ceiling ventilation and wall vents. These photos are from a house built in 1973 and it’s all dry and in good condition. It will be interesting to see how the modern home stacks up considering the way it is sealed with very little built in ventilation. Time will tell.

08.01.2022 The new home at Mornington is on its way, the slab is done, the structural steel is in place and spent today in the heat putting up some frame work with two great young blokes
06.01.2022 Well, after a trip on the trailer, a roller dolly run and a lift in place with a genie hoist, the old beam is back in use. I think real recycling will help sustain our future.

04.01.2022 Sometimes people that call themselves tradesman work on your property or in this case my building site, you look at what they do and wonder what were they thinking, or do they have a brain? This effort by Energy Australia, what a joke they are. The gas main pipe was put in by our plumber and all they had to do was make their main and meter connect to it. Morons.
