08.01.2022 This Mazda CX-9 has had major internal failure to its transfer case As you can see the oil has turned to a gel like state and the oil had broken down which means no lubrication to all the internal moving parts As manufacturers keep putting components and say filled for life (Which means no need for serving or changing oil for the life of this component) I wonder if this component could have been saved from a very expensive repair if the oil had been changed on a regular ...basis? #CX-9 #CX9transfercase #filledforlife See more
