02.01.2022 Eegenda directors Louise Meek and Norman Neeson filming at Ankor Wat, with 30 Cambodian Grannies (including one 95 year old featured in this shot). All are visiting for the first time in their lives! These women are true survivors through Pol Pot times - then living in abject poverty in Steung Meanchey garbage dump village before being rescued by the Cambodian Children's Fund (CCF) - founded by Norman's brother Scott Neeson. Apart from rescuing thousands of children who are now in education programs from kindergarten to University, CCF runs community programs including care for the 30 grannies. CCF arranged for them to have this journey of a lifetime. Their joy is pure delight!
