19.01.2022 According to AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency), we are classified as an essential service. Hence, WE ARE OPEN to serve our clients, until we are advised otherwise. We are undertaking extra measures in disinfecting our beds, surfaces, door handles etc after each patient, in accordance with Australian Government Department of Health. For those clients, who are unsure whether to come in or are compromised, we are offering tele-health service. We are here t...o support you, and please dont hesitate to call for any enquires. We are stocked up with Vitamin C, colloidal silver, zinc, minerals, and herbs if anyone wishes to order or purchase. (We can post these out to you if you are self-isolating). Remember, we are all in this together, and we should unite as a community! The pups Herman and Toto are chilled, and doing their bit by laying around, and reminding us to relax and slow down! So, stay calm, relax and breathe! Get rid of the fear, the world changes... God bless and stay safe!! 02 9369 4738 0414 888 738

18.01.2022 Hi Everyone, As the governments and community prepares for preventing the spread of COVID-19 we would like to advise how we are maintaining a healthy and safe environment for everyone and have added other protocols to our usual standard protocols of sanitising and washing of hands; What We're Doing: We sanitise our hands before and after treating a patient. We are wearing gloves during treatment.... We are cleaning with disinfectant all face-cushions, benchtops, door handles and chairs prior to and after each patient has attended. Providing hand sanitizer in each room. All patients have been advised who have symptoms such as fever, cold, cough, sore throat to call for a phone consultation rather than come into clinic. What You Can Do: According to Australian government guidelines, please self-quarantine for 14 days if you have travelled overseas Please also refrain from coming to clinic for 14 days if you have been in contact with a friend, family member or colleague who has been traveling to those affected areas or been in contact with someone who is showing symptoms. Thoroughly scrub/wash your hands, before clinic, and feel free to use our hand sanitisers in clinic before you enter the rooms especially after going to the bathroom. As much as possible, avoid touching your mouth, nose, and eyes. If you find yourself sneezing or coughing, please do it into a tissue or your elbow. Please dont forget to wash your hands immediately after. If you feel unwell and/or following travel to the affected countries, or have had contact with an individual with coronavirus, please see a health professional immediately. Government guidelines also suggest that you self-isolate and closely monitor your health for 14 days. Please reschedule if you have a cold or flu and you may call Emma for a phone consultation and she can send you out herbs to assist you to recover. Dont forget acupuncture (which we offer here in clinic) and herbs support the immune system. If you are working from home these days and do not want to venture out, please call for our Home Visit service. There is no need to panic, instead please take extra precautions and consider beyond yourselves and of those within the community who may not be as strong and healthy. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding during these unpredictable times. For any questions please contact us on 02 9369 4738 or send us a note at [email protected] Keep healthy and safe. 10.01.2022 Spring! The season of cleansing and renewal! This season according to Traditional Chinese Medicine is a time to focus on releasing emotions that no longer serve us, specifically those rooted in anger, resentment, frustration, and lethargy. The liver and the Gallbladder are the 2 organs that are most active during this time so it is also important to look after your diet. The colour predominant in Spring is green and the taste is sour, so focus your eating awareness on this. T...ips for spring: -Increase your movement - walk, dance, exercise -Spring clean your home -Walk through nature and enjoy the outdoors -Meditate -Do something fun and spontaneous -Forgive and let go as much as you can -Laugh -Eat lean and green -Enjoy a detoxifying sauna! 06.01.2022 Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die Its hard to be positive in circumstances with whats going on in Australia ...currently, however there are good stories out there, and its sad that theyre being missed because of one person. Ive gone and found some of my favorite stories. 1. The ringtale possum that ran to the firefighter and climbed up onto him, finding safety in his helmet. That same firefighter dropped off the possum to the station and then raced to a house where he dragged a man out because he was almost killed in the house fire. 2. The kangaroo that was raised by a family when it was young, released into the wild when it was old enough only for it to return years later racing into the family home and finding safety in their lounge room, the same one it was raised in. 3. The Aussie spirit of sharing your house with strangers and helping those who need support. This is a story that is common in every community, its just rarely reported. 4. Sikh volunteers driving 700km to assist and cook meals for those impacted by the bushfires as they said they came to Australia with only a bag on their back and wanted to return the favor as they knew what it was like to have nothing. 5. A group of mates drove 10 hours to support the Willawarrin community impacted by bushfires and the community adopted them being grateful for the meals and support they provided, supplying everything - from food to all the cooking equipment. 6. Firefighters in SA saving 6 koalas and finding them safety in a nearby house. 7. Local firefighter Kale Hardie-Porter leaving a note for the family whose property they saved and found shelter in that home, writing p.s we owe you some milk - this post went international and showed the positive impact of one kind gesture 8. IFAW koala detection dogs searching for any koalas that survived the bushfires 9. Firefighters saving a pine tree that locals decorate every year for Christmas. Locals who have had the tradition for the last 7 years thought the tree would be gone, but firefighters chose to save the tree which might be small for some, but to a community impacted by the bushfires, it was something positive for them to reflect on 10. RFS Commissioner Fitzsimmons displaying amazing leadership and support. He has worn his heart on his sleeve, spoke with the families and friends of those who sadly lost their loved ones to the fires and showed up each day to get the job done. 11. Or the Navy coming in to rescue and await evacuating those stranded, even allowing their pets to come on board. You can choose to focus all your energy on one man, spread hate and anger - but really what are you achieving? Be sad - yes. Be disappointed - yes. Put that energy into the voting ballot next election if you wish. But dont take away the good stories that are coming out of a horrible situation. Dont poison your family and friends newsfeed with such anger and hate. Try and focus on the things that are getting thousands of Aussies through this tough time - kindness, love and support.
