14.01.2022 18 Months ago Effigy started working with Avcair. As a business that has navigated through 17 years of operation, they have made the right calls using their experience and intuition. The Founder and CEO, Michael Cooke, knew that to realise the potential of their team they needed to power up the skills available to them. Effigy has taken ownership of the finance function and leveraged the financial data, in conjunction with the sales, marketing, and operational data, to pro...vide insights to the business. The use of data hasn't always changed the decision that was made, but it has given structure to the decision that makes the team, and CEO, confident the choice of action is the right one. As a growing business, the cadence of big decisions is growing rapidly. For example, the need to balance operational capacity with sales pipeline given the complexity, and expense, of resourcing an aviation operation. Where before a napkin may have given the decision to recruit, knowing a few months prior allows for better talent to be acquired, and the costs of training to be planned for.
