03.01.2022 Yay for easing restrictions Cabin fever is real, however we need to be sure were still protecting ourselves, our friends & family and vulnerable community members, so lets clarify some items: - you can gather outside in groups of up to 10 people, in public spaces.... - 5 guests are allowed to visit your home, in addition to the members of your household. This goes for both INSIDE and OUTSIDE such as your backyard, courtyard, patio, etc. - weddings can consist of the celebrant, the couple and 10 guests. This means that your witnesses, photographer/videographer, musicians etc all count towards the 10 guests and are not additional. So, can a wedding of 10 guests occur in someones backyard? In this case it would be best if you adhere to having 5 visitors to your house. The remainder of your guests would consist of those that live in the household, and the only other addition would be your celebrant. In all situations babies and children count towards the total number of people. In all cases the host must keep a record of the date, times, names and contact details of everyone who attended the gathering. Always practice social distancing and good hygiene.
