06.01.2022 Solid Bamboo vs Engineered Bamboo. What are the benefits? Engineered Bamboo is a Veneer of Bamboo on an Engineered Plywood core. The 3mm wear layer performs the same as a solid equivalent and the cross-layered Plywood core gives the board optimal stability. It has a similar look to Oak which is currently trending but with the added benefits of a hardwood, being similar in hardness to Blackbutt. We are so pleased with the outcome.
