13.01.2022 MILESTONE ALERT!! Debbie Jefferies - 250 visits. Just want to do a shoutout to this legend, Deb Jefferies. Since I’ve met Deb, she continues to prove that everything is about mindset and the way you choose to look at things. ... She’s rubbed off on me and I’ve rubbed off on her. She has hit some impressive milestones, like hitting a 115kg Deadlift Adding 40kg’s to her Bench Press. ...40kg’s... That’s ridiculous. But more than her lifting, she has come off of her diabetes medication and improved her overall health. Oh..and she’s dropped 10kg’s. That’s what it’s all about. A healthy, strong body and mind that can tackle any situation. And Deb puts her body in a few situations. She’s a legend of the club and she continues to take everything I give her and come back for more. Great work, legend! Proud of you!

12.01.2022 A shoutout to my main man, Warren Kirkpatrick, with his 10kg loss in just over four weeks! I'm so proud of this guy and the work he's put in throughout the short time we've worked together. Warren is the type of person that I admire helping every day. ... That I love to motivate and remind him, it's not just about the weight loss; it's about the journey, the lifestyle you want to invest in for yourself. To have a "why" that makes you cry and push you to become the best version of yourself both mentally and physically. Because at the end of the day, regardless of failure, never sit back and regret the things you had the guts to go out and accomplish. You had the drive to achieve tremendous things, and THAT'S what we all need, THAT'S where it all starts, and THAT'S where big things start happening... Great work legend! 12.01.2022 Norman Lante - 500 Visits CONGRATULATIONS to Norman Lante on his 500th visit at EFM Bedford Park. Norm is an absolute legend of the club. Always smiling when he walks through the door. He has a heart of gold and he really embodies his Member of the Year title. He has come so far since the first day he scrapped his knees on the smallest box while doing box jumps. Now the dude has leaned out, built some muscle and built some serious strength. Smashing out 100kg Squats. 105kg Bench Presses and 140kg deadlifts The dude is a beast. He is one of our most consistent members and has been since the day he signed up. Congrats Norm. You are a legend and a scholar my friend!

08.01.2022 The thing about making a productive lifestyle is, we don't make a choice to turn things around until we either; 1. Hit rock bottom 2. Decide we just cannot live this way anymore... We decide that this isn't the life we want to wake up to anymore and something needs to change. ---------- Whether you're attempting to make some significant life changes like, improving your health, lose weight or improve your fitness, you can't expect to completely undo years of bad habits and yoyo dieting in a day or week "If you walk 10 miles into the woods, you'll need to walk 10 miles to get back out." And that walk, more or less, isn't going to be much fun at all! Disrupting habits built on years of poor eating and living a sedentary lifestyle is meant to be a challenging process change can be really hard, uncomfortable but it's supposed to be! Anything worth creating like a better body or a healthy lifestyle will come with its struggles. This is part of life's lessons as we grow, learn and become that person we've always desired to be. The person who feels comfortable in their own skin. The person who can treat themselves on the weekends to desserts or KFC and not feel overwhelmed with guilt. The person who can walk into the gym with all of the confidence in the world, knowing they are bettering themselves by being there. It's important to remember that life will continue to challenge you with the same lessons over and over again until you learn what exactly it is trying to teach you. You will need to keep walking that 10 miles back out until you finally decide that enough is enough. 07.01.2022 Some food for thought/ thought for food on this Tuesday morning. "What gets measured gets managed." If your current health goal is weight loss, stop and have a think about what your meals will consist of today...... Are you eating enough? This example demonstrates that eating LESS does not necessarily mean you are eating in a caloric deficit (consuming less energy than you burn) which is what our bodies need for fat loss. The reality of this example is, this person is not aware of the caloric volume they're actually consuming. This is where calorie tracking comes in... Not sure how to track your daily calorie intake? 05.01.2022 I'm often told that I'm "lucky"... "Lucky" to work in the industry that I do. "Lucky" to work alongside the truly hard-working, inspirational people that I do.... "Lucky" to be in the position that I am, running my own business in the fitness industry. I'm here to say, "luck" got me nowhere. Do you know what did get me here? 7 day work weeks at 12+ hours a day, dedication, believing in myself, a damn good support network and a community of members who were 110% committed to change their lives for the better. Success is not a random act. People don't just rise from nowhere. Success is persistence, a willingness to work hard and make sense of something that most would give up on after just a few hours. This is exactly what I teach my members from the moment we meet. Because the same goes for your health and fitness goals. Your health is an investment in a sustainable future. Don't quit because you didn't lose 5kgs in a week. Don't quit because your gym membership is too expensive. If you want to reach your goals bad enough, you will find a routine that suits you, and you will achieve them. I promise. Your body and mind will challenge you and will crave the easier routine like skipping the gym out of laziness or grabbing fast food on your way home from work. Or even shutting your business because it was all getting too hard. Real growth and success happen outside of this little safety bubble. 05.01.2022 Sadly, we are once again temporarily closing EFM Health Clubs, Bedford Park, for the next two weeks. Effective from midnight November 16th. Whilst this is a disappointing turn of events, we wholeheartedly understand the State Governments decision to enforce these restrictions as a measure for the greater good of your health. Rest assured, we will be thoroughly accommodating in terms of online workouts being made available to you via both Zoom and Facebook Live in replacemen...t of group classes. As well as ongoing nutritional advice. Our team would like to thank the MOBsters for their ongoing support, especially since our last shut down earlier this year. We will continue to post updates as they become available, so we can continue to stay in touch with the great community that we've built in our club. 04.01.2022 Great work to our Club Visit Leader - Stephen Meredith - on completing a 55km Ultramarathon on the weekend! For those who don't know Stephen, he epitomises what it means to Never Stop Getting Better! At 73 years young, he is in the gym 4x per week, completes Half and Full Marathons each month and continues to rack up those visits in the gym, currently sitting at 2417 visits!... Continuing to inspire all of us!

03.01.2022 Big shout out to David Langley on his 1000th visit at EFM Bedford Park. David has been with us since the move from FMC and has been a super consistent member ever since. Going through his fair share of ups and downs with his body, he will always do his best to make it in to the club and work on his body. David turned 70 years old this year and still loves to have a swing of golf and a hit of tennis week to week. Great work David Tiger Langley!
