25.01.2022 Anyone else have a handful (or shelf full) of books like this? Books that are dismissive of emotions rather than accepting our emotions and releasing them in a positive way. No one can be happy nor expect to all the time. We are human after all . Thats what makes EFT such a powerful tool. It allows children (and adults) to acknowledge they feel a negative emotion and accept that its okay.

23.01.2022 EFT is my tool of choice to keep emotions moving through my body rather than taking up residence. This keeps my body free from aches, pains and illness that have an emotional element.
22.01.2022 We can share our innate kindness and care for others at this time. Give it a go; you may even feel uplifted as well! TIP: Children love this. Even younger children are able to visualise and do this, especially if you get them to lay comfortably and do some breathing such as in for the count of 4 and out for the count of 4 until they begin to feel relaxed. 21.01.2022 If you are feeling anxious or stressed give this technique a try. This technique will help calm your nervous system and help you feel relaxed. 1. Cross the arms, putting the right hand on top of left shoulder and the left hand on top of right shoulder.... 2. Gently draw the hands from both shoulders down to the elbows, (both hands at the same time) slowly and repeatedly. 3. At the same time, hum a tune without words. 4. 16.01.2022 About 1 in 7 children and adolescents aged 4-17 have recently experienced a mental disorder in Australia. The most common disorder is ADHD, followed by anxiety,... depression and conduct disorder. This means, based on the average Australian class size that 4 children in every classroom are part of this statistic. Signs that a child needs emotional support include difficulty coping, getting on with others or staying interested in activities with or without a specific diagnosis. It is possible for children to build resilience and gather all of the stars with a simple daily tapping routine.

12.01.2022 Dr. Margaret Lambert in the Northern Territory recently published her doctoral dissertation entitled The Tapping Project: Introducing Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) to reduce anxiety and improve wellbeing in primary school students. The study assessed the effectiveness of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), or tapping, when used as a class intervention for student wellbeing in four Northern Territory schools.
