23.01.2022 Ned D’Souza, who is completing his final year of Medicine at UWA, took time out of his busy schedule to visit the Yr 11 EGC students studying ATAR Health studies. Ned is completing his final practicum at Kalgoorlie Health Campus and provided students with insights into some of the interesting things he has seen and witnessed as an aspiring doctor. He also discussed the different health professions and health pathways available to the students who wanted to pursue a career i...n the health sector. Students didn’t waste any time to ask Ned the hard questions such as alcohol consumption and some of the mistakes and dangers younger people find themselves in as a result of peer pressure and social norms. Ned’s insights were a welcome addition to students’ endless health lectures. As an added bonus, Ned is preparing for his final exams, so he also provided students with effective and efficient study tips and tricks to help them with their own upcoming exams. Year 11 Health students thank Ned for his time and wisdom and from everyone at EGC we wish him good luck for his final exams! See more
