17.01.2022 A very belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year xox May 2020 be the year for health, happiness and dreams to come true and a time to celebrate family and cher...ish what we have xox So where are we at... well 2019/last year was again a crazy year!! The boys Liam (almost 4) and Owen (just turned 2) keep me busy, not sure where my days go between them, the day to day stuff and life.. but it disappears lol xox Health issues for me were huge last year, with my auto immune disease "scleroderma" (potentially from or accelerated from my breast cancer, chemo and implant for my "foob"), I seemed to have spent the year quite sick with anything and everything. Then later in the year I found out I had the "textured implant" that's been banned in my mastectomy foob so I made the decision to have it removed as it can potentially cause another cancer and there's a link between it and auto immune diseases!! There's a great article about the day to day when you have an ongoing health issue, I will try to find it and share it, some days are ok, you get on with it and manage even though you still feel exhausted and awful and some days are a struggle but you still get on with it. Then sadly the bush fires started and as a resident of the Blue Mountains we had them coming from a few sides ... so my time has been spent on packing up things, packing the car ready to leave, clearing the yard and house etc. not to mention the daily monitoring of the situation which if you haven't been through this can be very time consuming. One fire is still in the mountains and heading our way but the #RFS are doing an amazing job along with all the other agencies to put in containment lines, lets hope it works. But sadly with so many bush fires, people have lost their lives, their homes and more, not to mention the dedication, long hours and hard work that the #RFS and other agencies/people have been putting in for months on these fires and probably will do for a while yet till they are under control/out and the season is over :( xox A big thank you to my wonderful admins on my support groups Natalie Hart, Lauren Leeson, Katherine O'Brien and Christine Sauvé Guindon without their help I would not have been able to keep the groups going and of course to all the members of the groups who also make the groups what they are xox I'm sorry that I've not replied/responded to messages/emails/ads etc. much this year or at all recently, or posted and/or commented, things have been a bit crazy but I'm hoping that things will settle down soon and I can dedicate more time into Egg Donor Angels. 14.01.2022 Merry Christmas, what a year it's been, I know many have struggled with not only going through Ivf but all the impacts of bushfires, floods and COVID19.. whilst... it's been a crazy year, I feel blessed we have our boys and hope 2021 is a much better year for all.
