23.01.2022 Flashback to when this maternity portrait was captured earlier in the year. I remember it as clear as yesterday. It was a stinker of a day and you could cut through the humidity in the air with a knife. We could smell the storm coming before we could see it and in a flash, the blue skies had turned black . We rushed some family shots in, then waited it out undercover while the rain pelted down . Then as quick as it came, it disappeared again. So we continued our ses...sion as normal...but with muddy feet. The dark clouds just adds to the dramatic scenery. 14.01.2022 This morning's little adventure included visiting our local Impressionable Kids Springfield Lakes / Ipswich and meeting with the lovely Sarah. I constantly get asked by clients for referrals for framed hand and feet sculptures of their newborns but as I wasn't organised enough to get them done for my own kids, I couldn't really recommend anyone. So today, we got them done! Not newborns but sibling frames!!! What a great experience. I can't wait to see the final product! 08.01.2022 I had a great morning capturing Master Liam's 12 month milestone portraits in the studio. Then due to client illness, my extended family session for this afternoon had to be rescheduled...so I took the opportunity to have some much needed family time! November has always been a crazy busy month but this year, it's been extra crazy busy! So an unexpected afternoon off to spend with my munchkins was very much appreciated

08.01.2022 Last week I had time away with my little family. It's always so lovely to be by the ocean. I spent quality time with my children, walking on the beautiful beach , collecting shells, watching them splash about the pool, actually reading a full book (not work related), eating too much ice cream and takeaway and not feeling guilty about any of it! Now I'm back, refreshed and ready for whatever 2021 brings! This morning I photographed my first session of 2021. Due to the loc...kdown announcement on Friday, we thought it wasn't going to happen but lucky for us, it did!
