24.01.2022 Est in Beaumaris gets all the basics right, crispy bacon and perfectly cooked poached eggs. The only downfall is this new epidemic of unbuttered toast sweeping the state. We need a butter revolution! Bring back the butter!

23.01.2022 We've said it before but we'll say it again, The Parlor in Cheltenham know how to do a good breakfast. If you love your bacon, u won't be disappointed, it's the best in town. We know a few places that could learn a lot from this place ;)
22.01.2022 Finally we have found eggs that have taste!!! We went to The Colonel's Son this morning and it hit the spot. The eggs were perfectly cooked and had taste like real free range eggs should. The coffee was great. The only downfall was the bacon. It was way too thick and smoky for our taste. Do yourself a favour and grab a seat in the window and enjoy your breakfast overlooking black rock beach but maybe just keep the bacon off the plate, unless your into that kind of thing!

21.01.2022 Is this egg still okay to use?? Use this simple test to check. If it sinks its fine, if it floats bin it (but maybe outside!!). Its that simple!
20.01.2022 Now that's a perfectly cooked egg!!! Tommy Tucker in Bentleigh served it up right! Only complaint was the bacon, we love our bacon thin and crispy not thick tommy!!
19.01.2022 Kicko in Beaumaris served up perfectly cooked eggs this morning however we are sorry to say we walked away underwhelmed. The service was great the bacon was crispy but we just can't put our finger on what went wrong. Again the toast was unbuttered and maybe that's it. Kicko serves up a breakfast that u could do at home. There were no signature standouts. I'm sorry Kicko but I think you are going to get lost in the crowd!

16.01.2022 Ebenezer coffee and wine bar in Black Rock got us excited when we saw it open. The menu looked great and we thought that this was the place to start off 2015 after 2014's underwhelming experiences. However Ebenezer Coffee & Wine Bar you have fallen into the same mistakes that others have, tasteless eggs and thick rubbery bacon! Huge fail!! It does sadden us to have to temporary ban this place because the coffee was great and the staff are amazing! So please change your egg supplier and change how you cook your bacon and hopefully when we return we can give you a double thumbs up!

14.01.2022 2015 is underway! 2014 proved to be the year that good eggs and bacon were hard to come by. We need help, we are hanging for a good breakfast. Anyone have any recommendations the last few places we've been have been very underwhelming. Help us!

07.01.2022 Schoolhouse in Brighton has gone straight to the top of our list!! Free ranged eggs that actually have taste and thin crispy bacon. What else do you need. And for something a bit different try the Miranda Kerr waffles, now they will get your heart started first thing in the morning! All in all Schoolhouse is a winner.

05.01.2022 Mart in Albert park is worth a visit. Eggs were perfectly cooked and the bacon was thin and crispy. The only downfall was the potato hash which was simply pan fried potatoes which doesn't really represent a breakie side to us! And no butter on the toast!! But would definitely give it another go.
01.01.2022 We are sad to say that Cafe Florentines in Brighton has been but on the temporary banned list! "Cafe Florentine your standards have come crashing down. There was a day when you could never disappoint but now your eggs are like water and taste like nothing and your bacon has become thick like rubber. Oh how we miss the good old days!" Florentine
