25.01.2022 The below was sent to clubs today: Could clubs please remind their members that they must complete the COVID Declaration and Scrutineering form for the club tha...t they are intending on racing or practicing at, not the club they are a member of. For example if you will be racing at King of the Hill hosted by Hurricane Go Kart Club, you must complete the scrutineering form and declaration form for Hurricane Go Kart Club. Links are provided in the sup regs, on the state website and on the facebook page. Drivers may be penalised if they arrive at the race meetings without the correct forms submitted.

Is greatly appreciated. The track interior looks great after the bit of rain we have had these past couple weeks.

At the moment there is a full calendar listed and I guess if 2020 was anything to go by then we plan for that to be the case but be ready for alterations if the situation changes in Australia and particular Western Australia. Let's hope that things can be managed well and we can continue living the relatively free existence we can over here in the west. A reminder that the kart display at the Nickeltown Flounderers Car and Bike Show is on tomorrow in Kambalda East at 10am - details in previous posts. Big shout out to Naomi Woodcock for the flyers to hand out tomorrow and the colouring in competition on the back of the flyers for the kiddies. She has done a wonderful job. Many thanks Naomi.... Do try and get out there to help with promoting and selling our great club and the sport. The car show will be cool too plus there are some fun things going on to keep the kids amused. 07.01.2022 A reminder to all our members wishing to upgrade their license either from D-C or C-B, you must do this via CMS. It doesn't happen automatically. In the endorsement section you will see all of the endorsements you have requested and the status of those. ie; D-C grade, track, and if it was granted. When you have the correct amount (for P plates four D-C grade endorsements) go to My Details and select Request Address or License Change and in their you can select the upgrad...e you are seeking. Drivers under 18 that are entered via a Participant cannot do this themselves and the registered participant must do so using the Request Address or License Change of a Minor from the participants log in account. This will go to the Karting WA state secretary who will then advise by email if the upgrade is approved or otherwise. Just remember that the upgrade must first be selected when you enter race meetings via CMS in the class details page, select Endorsement Sought. This triggers an alert to the stewards that the driver is to be observed for the upgrade therefore it can't be requested after the meeting. Hope this helps, happy karting everyone. 06.01.2022 Hey racers! Unfortunately at this stage there is still some classes with not enough nominations to run for points this weekend. Or in some cases no nominations... at all. Anyone who makes the trip will be able to run though. But nominations are not closed yet! So remind you mates to hurry up and get there nominations in before Friday!

06.01.2022 Good morning everyone, Some important updates on the COVID-19 registration requirements for our club and other clubs in WA. The club / track is now registered as a sporting venue with SafeWA and has a unique QR code.... You will notice a number of the new SafeWA sign in posters around the track. In the pits on the noticeboards, stewards' room, fence near the first gate as you enter the pit area, in the undercover pit shelter down the end, plus on the window to the left as you enter the club rooms. You only need to register once per visit with any one of these posters. The entire track and club rooms are registered as one venue. This replaces the requirement to submit the Karting Australia COVID-19 declarations each time you go to our track. Other tracks will likely follow suit with the SafeWA QR codes. Keep an eye out on their Facebook pages or when you go to their tracks. You MUST sign in when you get to the track as this is our only defence against action by Karting Australia and the State Government for not following the COVID-19 directions. COVID-19 will be likely around for some time and we must continue to abide by the various directions and requirements to enable the club to continue to operate. 03.01.2022 Email has just been sent to clubs in relation to what fuel can be used at WA race meetings. PULP fuel is the only fuel used as per the rules, race meeting sup regs and our state regulations. This includes the KZ2 class. The Panta Kart 102 fuel is not used in WA.

02.01.2022 Congratulations to EGKC member Jacob Potts on running 4th last night at the Perth Motorplex in the #81 speedcar. Jacob qualified 3rd in group 1, placed 2nd in heat 1 from 7th setting the fastest lap, and finished 4th from 8th in the final. He is running 2nd in the Perth Motorplex Speedcar Championship.

02.01.2022 How good is this sunset from last night Thank you to all that attended yesterday. It was fantastic to see so many karts circulating and really encouraging for next year. Thank you to Naomi, Grant and Troy for organising the bbq and food. A pic of the awesome bbq trailer posted earlier. Wow what a cool set up. ... Thank you to Sandra and Eddie for your help on the grid and track. Thank you to Grace for the photos, will post them separately. Always good pics and great to capture the on track images. Thank you also to Ryse for bringing something new and exiting that wasn’t a go kart . He is adorable. And to all the other members and visitors that made yesterday fun and enjoyable, thank you. We take a short break now and will return to local racing in February. Busy month with the club run on the 20th and the first SEZ round here the following Saturday 27th.
