25.01.2022 Good evening all, Training will commence for our U10s and U11s this Thursday at 5:30pm. We are really excited to meet some new faces and also welcome back some of our Master blasters as they progress into the junior grades!!

23.01.2022 Our U10s had a great afternoon out at the big bash game yesterday getting out on the ground for a Mini game as part of the pre match.

23.01.2022 Our Junior and Master blasters programs start this Thursday 5:30-6:30pm at Heath Oval. We are really excited about seeing the return of our blasters and also looking forward to meeting some new juniors into our club! We are still taking registrations so if your child is 5-7(Junior blasters) or 7-9(master blasters) and looking for a fun summer activity then go to Playcricket.com to register Both programs run for 10 weeks total, 5 weeks before Xmas school holidays and the resumes for 5 weeks once school returns.

22.01.2022 Good morning all, its great to see plenty of registrations coming in for the upcoming season, we are really excited to say for the first time our club will be entering U10 and U11s sides in the North West Metro competitions. The WACA is holding a scorers information evening this Thursday evening at the WACA between 6-8pm and it would be fantastic if we could get 1 or 2 parent volunteers from U10s and 11s to attend the session to gain some scoring experience before the seaso...n begins on 20 October. The session is free of charge. I understand that it is a bit of an ask to travel to the WACA on a school night but it is important to get the correct processes in place to ensure a smooth and enjoyable season for our juniors. 22.01.2022 Good evening all, we will be holding our prizegiving for our Junior Blasters and Master Blasters on Friday 15th March from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Community hub at Heath Oval, We are extremely happy to announce that we will have a very special guest from the Scorchers to present all our registered players with medals between 6-7. There will be food and refreshments available, and some games and activities, more to be announced in the coming weeks as we finalise the final details!!

20.01.2022 On Sunday our U10s played the Ocean Ridge Tigers at Leatherback Oval. Ocean Ridge won the toss and elected to field first. Our young side found batting tough going and runs were hard to come by, making 59/7 from 20 overs. Corban Whalley top scored this week and hit one really nice shot through the inside for the one and only boundary of the innings. Drikus and Lienka also batted really solidly and were the only 2 players to not be dismissed from their 20 deliveries. Our bo...wling and fielding effort was good from all players this week but Ocean ridge showed some real class with the bat and got to 112/5 from their 20 overs. Corban again lead the way with 2 wickets and Jan, Drikus and Lola all got one wicket each. Another notable performance with the ball was Lienka who only conceded 3 runs from her 2 overs. Players of the day were Corban for his great all round performance and Lienka for her bowling and also her wicket keeping performance, well done to both of you! It is really pleasing to see the improvement in the whole team from the first week in what is their first ever season playing against far more experienced opposition, keep up the great work guys! 18.01.2022 Our U11s travelled to Lake Joondalup Park this week to play Wanneroo U11s. Unfortunately I wasnt able to make it to what must have been an exciting game the game ending in a draw with both teams finishing on 139 from their 20 overs. Lachlan Bidefeld top scored with the bat with 21 runs but everyone made solid contributions in an excellent performance. Reid McKinnon was outstanding with the ball taking 3-14 from his 4 overs, as was Evan Keefe with 2-16. There was also some... terrific fielding with 5 run outs! The club is absolutely thrilled with the potential and improvement this team is showing each week. A lot of credit must go to Todd Mackinnon who has kindly volunteered his time and completed the community coaching course and has taken over as coach, he is doing an outstanding job and also Karen Keefe who has taken on the role of team manager, this team is in really good hands!! Thank you to everyone who showed their support to our club and purchased tickets, in just over a week we managed to raise just over $300 which is a fantastic effort and will go a long way towards some of the equipment we are looking at to give our young cricketers a better experience next season!!

14.01.2022 Let there be light! Great news for local sporting clubs with floodlighting being installed over the next few weeks at the Amberton Beach sports oval. The lights have been jointly funded by Stockland and the State Government.

Our online registrations are now up and running and we have had a number of phone queries regarding U10 and U11 sides so we are very hopeful that we can enter teams in these grades for the first time on top of our junior and master blasters! We are looking at the Junior and master blaster programs... beginning mid to late October dates to be confirmed in the next couple of weeks. 09.01.2022 Really happy to say that in just over 2 hours we raised $310 at the sausage sizzle for the movie night at the flying fox Park last night, this $ will be donated the to the firies that have been working so hard over the last few days. Huge thank you to all that donated last night and to the committee for volunteering to run the sizzle, awesome effort by all!!

07.01.2022 SHANE WARNES BAGGY GREEN TOUR Kingsley Park Kingsley Tomorrow Evening 5-630pm ... Tomorrow evening between 5 and 6:30pm Kingsley Park will be one of 34 stops for the Commonwealth Bank Baggy Green tour. Following the devastating bushfires across eastern Australia Shane Warne donated his world famous baggy green cap to raise funds for those experiencing hardship. More than $1 million was required in the successful bid by the Commonwealth Bank, who are taking the cap across the country to continue the support for those affected. KWJCC Junior and Master Blasters will be on tomorrow evening from 5pm at Kingsley Park and this is an open invitation for all association parents and players to come down and see the baggy green close up. For a small donation to the Red Cross people will be able to hold the cap and get a photo, with all funds going directly to the Red Cross. It should be a great night.

In light of today's announcement by the State Government regarding the 5 day lock down for the Perth Metro area, this week's training for the junior and master blasters has been cancelled. ... 05.01.2022 What a wonderful way to finish off our 2nd season as a growing junior Cricket club in our community, it was so great to see the smiles on our Junior and Master Blasters as they were presented their medals at our prizegiving, I am very proud to say you have all improved immensely this season, I am really excited for even bigger and better things to come for next season! A big congratulations must go to our newly introduced special awards winners this year, The Most improved J...unior and Master Blasters, Our Junior and Master blaster Volunteers, Our Volunteer of the year and also our Committee member of the year for your awesome efforts for the club, as the club grows in future years we will introduce more of these awards to show our appreciation of the efforts that go toward making a successful and enjoyable season for all! A very special thanks must go to our special guests for the evening, Niki Andonovski from the WACA, WA contracted player Matt Spoors and the man who brought us altogether to make this great little Cricket club happen, Allan Crook. Also thanks must go to the parents who week in week out brought the children down to training and the games on Saturday, we hope to see you all back next year!! 03.01.2022 A bit of history made for our club yesterday morning, our U11s being the first ever Eglinton team to play in a junior grade cricket match against the Quinns Rocks blue team, our boys doing a great job restricting Quinns to 90/10 in their 20 overs with some good bowling and excellent fielding, but unfortunately the Quinns bowlers were a bit too good for our boys on the day restricting us to 67/10 from our 20 overs. Really proud of the boys for their first up effort they are showing some really positive signs of being an excellent team with a few more games under their belt, keep up the great work!!

03.01.2022 What a way to finish the first half of the cricket season with some of our junior blasters lucky enough to experience getting out onto the ground at Optus Stadium yesterday during the lunch break!! Massive thanks to the staff at the WACA and especially Niki Andonovski for giving our juniors the opportunity for such an experience and for all the support you provide our growing club!
