24.01.2022 Our green waste services resume Tuesday; however long delays are expected. Sites are open their usual days and not all sites accept green waste. Green waste bay...s have been set up to ensure social distancing and traffic management will be in place. We expect a high volume of customers and queues. Priority will be given to garbage trucks, bushfire waste and contractors. We ask that you only drop off your green waste if it is unsafe to stockpile at home. Disrespectful behaviour towards our people or other customers won’t be tolerated. All green waste loads will be inspected, so make sure your green waste does not contain soil, plastic, food scraps, or hazardous waste. Branches must be under 30 cm in diameter. You can find your nearest green waste site and its operating hours on our website eastgippsland.vic.gov.au/waste
