14.01.2022 It’s NAIDOC week, and we would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge the Wurunjeri and Bunurong peoples as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet together in our neighbourhood house. We acknowledge their rich culture and pay respect to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal people as Australia's first peoples and as the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we work and live. For more information about the traditional custodians of this area, you can read more, and watch videos, at https://www.casey.vic.gov.au/caseys-traditional-landowners
14.01.2022 Garden Gossips : Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather and most importantly the ease in restrictions It’s been a terrific time to get into the garden, do some preparations, get planting and take some time for yourself as we move back into the world we use to know. Recently the surrounds of the Community Garden have had a revamp. The addition of the extension to the concrete path and mulching of the other path, have all been done so we are ready for a wonderful 2021. More details coming soon. In the meantime let’s make the most of what remains of 2020 and stay safe. Until next time Happy Gardening
