15.01.2022 The first tower crane in Glenelg for well over a decade!

14.01.2022 The main entry at Ei8ht is taking shape now that the custom feature precast panels are installed. These panels are completely unique to the project with sculpted fronts and a special concrete mix chosen for the site.

14.01.2022 Progress at Ei8ht has been outstanding with favourable weather allowing the rapid excavation of the basement levels. Excavations are scheduled to be complete by mid-august allowing the basement slab to be prepared. The concrete piles currently visible on site are progressively being shortened as the soil around them is removed.... We look forward to the installation of the tower crane shortly in preparation for the construction of the car park floors.

13.01.2022 A beautiful sunny day down at Ei8ht and plenty of activity with more piling equipment arriving for the basement walls.

12.01.2022 If you have been past recently, you may have noticed that the scaffolding has been removed in some parts of the upper levels of the building providing a sneak peak at how EI8HT will look when complete. The removal of the tower crane is scheduled for next week which will be another milestone event.

07.01.2022 Ei8ht Apartments welcomes in the new year with fine weather as the car park ramp nears completion. As the lift and stair core pushes upwards, we look forward to seeing the tower take shape in early 2019 making a dramatic change to the Glenelg seafront!

07.01.2022 Friday 8 November 2019 saw the Topping Out Ceremony held on Level 11 of the project. This very significant milestone was attended by the Honourable Stephen Patterson MP, State Member for Morphett, the Honourable Amanda Wilson, Mayor, City of Holdfast Bay, Mr Tim Tape, State Manager of Watpac (Builder), Mr Louis Kanellos and Mr Jordan Katelanis of EI8HT South Esplanade and a guest list comprising of EI8HT South Esplanade’s vast consultant team who have contributed toward the project to date.

03.01.2022 We are very pleased to announce that Watpac has been appointed to build Ei8ht South Esplanade! Watpac is a national Tier One ASX listed builder with over 30 years’ experience in the construction sector and is involved in a range of very significant projects across Australia. Work will commence shortly on site and we look forward to providing updates on the construction process.

02.01.2022 The tower at Ei8ht Apartments is pushing upwards with the three-storey high feature ‘wishbone’ columns landing on site to support the upper levels!
