18.01.2022 NAIDOC day 5: some of our student leaders and helpers dug up the kup murri yesterday and enjoyed a delicious feast. The smoky flavours and tenderness of the meat and vegetables got us thinking that we might have to do this again soon! #NAIDOCWeek2020

14.01.2022 Just had to share this little story - we had a language meeting at the school where Neil Stanley attended as an employee of Murgon SS - to his surprise, he was very happy to catch up with his kindy teacher from Cherbourg in 1979 - Ms Hansen (our Art and Learning Support teacher). Here they are standing in front of a mural by Arthur Conlon at our school - Arthur was a teacher aide in that class.

07.01.2022 NAIDOC day 3: Today our student leaders dug up our kup murri pit and prepared the food to be put down Thursday. We spoke about preparation of underground cooking and traditional foods that would have been cooked this way. We can’t wait to have a feed tomorrow together. #NAIDOC2020

07.01.2022 NAIDOC day 4: A beautiful project that came out of COVID times. Russell is so passionate and we always love working with him. Cassie did an amazing job of translating and liaising with our linguist to get the translation spot on. Our students were able to put their heart and souls into their artwork and it is just perfect. This is our land and this is our home. #NAIDOC2020 North Burnett Regional Council deadly stories Queensland Department of Education Queensland Teachers' Union

05.01.2022 Check this out! Congratulations to Kody Pope who took out the national award for best Augmented Reality Character within the NAIDOC Minecraft challenge. I liked the challenge because I learnt how to use paint 3D, it was lots of fun but also a really good way to share cultural knowledge, pretty cool! #MinecraftNAIDOC20

03.01.2022 The 11/12 hospitality class did an amazing job of setting up The Sunset Cafe for some very excited diners last night. The menu was extensive and full of flair! Well done - whenever you want to open a restaurant in Eidsvold, just let us know

01.01.2022 Thank you very much Marshall Langston for working with our Fireflies girl's group. It is important that our girls have a unique skill set and learn new things while they are here. They had a great time making halters (not holsters ) with you on Wednesday. We look foward to working with you on other projects this year!
