22.01.2022 Eifers was engaged by Mitchell Shire Council for urgent demolition and reconstruction works to a drainage culvert along the active Prices Creek bed in Willowmavin. Under severe and time-critical conditions, Eifers had to demolish the existing corrugated iron culvert and replace with a 2-cell reinforced concrete box culvert to allow continual creek flow underneath Diggings Road. To minimise construction programme, Eifers used a proprietary product, allowing backfilling to the underside of the pavement to occur in just one day, before proceeding with pavement reconstruction to restore access to Diggings Road. #eifers #civilconstruction #victoria #infrastructure #contractor #builder #mitchellshire

16.01.2022 Eifers Civil was engaged by Hume City Council to transform a decommissioned rail siding in Broadmeadows into a vibrant, accessible open space corridor. This project won the 2019 Healthy Active By Design Award, initiative by the Heart Foundation to enhance wellbeing, by encouraging physical activity, outdoor recreation and community interaction using innovative urban design. The creation of 1.4km of shared pathway, designated seating, interactive Play Space, and significant ...landscaping works redefined an urban wasteland into an accessible, eco-friendly community space. Eifers Civil maintained the historical continuity of the site by repurposing elements of the 100-year-old railway. Working under significant constraints, Eifers Civil completed night works on Blair Street, Dallas and used innovative volumetric cement mixers to reduce waste and minimise traffic shutdowns to the average daily volume of 17,000 vehicles using this major road. #eifers #civilconstruction #victoria #infrastructure #contractor #builder #liveproject

08.01.2022 Due to taxiway flooding issues, Eifers was contracted to establish a new runway for Lilydale Airport by Waterpave (a local supplier of pervious concrete) to supply and pour 2250m2 concrete within a two-week time frame.
