02.01.2022 | Get To Know Your Barber | Welcome to our new Barber - Dan @_barber.dann Age - 27... How long have you been barbering? 5 months. I have a lot to learn with certain hairstyles and designs when it comes to hair cutting. Eight brothers is the perfect place to learn the craft with the other barbers all showing me different skills and techniques with their decades of combined experience. What I enjoy about being a barber? Meeting people from all walks of life. Having the opportunity to talk to them about their current life situations and their future plans, of which I believe is a rare occurrence in any industry. What made you want to become a barber? I previously served in the Australian defence force, as an infantryman. It was a big boys club in which I had plenty of experience with through playing rugby my entire life. I guess you could say I found comfort in that sort of environment, which is why I chose to start barbering. What/who inspires you? My parents, my beautiful wife & kids
