Rianne gave us a humorous speech on her hobby, pole fitness. Anil gave us tips on how figures of speech can enhance our speeches. 17.01.2022 It was great to be back from the holiday season and be able to be in our Toastmasters swing. Our first meeting in 2020 was filled with laughter, which included 3 Prepared speeches. Our Club Sponsor, Katya, spoke about Mental Health and how society is becoming more aware of the different types of Mental Health. Our Club Sponsor, Anil, completed his Ice Breaker Speech. His speech was about the difficulties when he migrated to Australia as a Structural Engineer, while there was... no work available. Andy completed his first-ever speech! His humorous speech was a personal story of him migrating to Australia with his family. Which included a story about him catching a burglar.
