25.01.2022 Hello everyone. Unfortunately the wet conditions have once again caused the cancellation of competition at Eildon last Saturday, therefore no results to post. The weather looks like improving this week, so fingers crossed we can hold the Monthly Medal this coming Saturday. 11:30 for a 12 o’clock hit off. Hope to see you there. Hit off also at midday this Wednesday if your keen. Take care. EGC.
24.01.2022 Hello everyone. Due to the very wet conditions, ECG has regrettably ceased any golf activity for the foreseeable future.

Peter was also the winner on the par 3 12th for nearest the pin whilst Kerry Power found the green on his drive on the 14th. Andrew Paice was successful with a fine birdie on the par ...4 8th. Due to the low numbers, no entry draw, swindle or joker draws were conducted. A big thanks to Peter for the post game snacks. Congratulations to all the braved the trying conditions. See more

Mark was the entry draw recipient, Kevin Zanoni the swindle winner whilst David McNair was fortunate to have his name drawn for the joker draw. A special mention to our visitor Mark Robinson who shot an outstanding 69 (6) net 63. Well done Mark on a great round of golf. We hope you enjoyed Eildon. As mentioned in our opening remarks, the course was in great condition. Many hours of work go into keeping the course looking and playing as good as it is and this is a testament to tremendous work our members put in. A massive thank you to all that helped out with the coring last Tuesday week and the ongoing maintenance of our greens and fairways. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed. Not long now until we can welcome back our Melbourne members after what has been an extremely difficult time. EGC look forward to seeing you all back. Until next time, take care. EGC. See more

06.01.2022 Something different for the fourteen players who competed at Eildon on Saturday. Competitors played an individual Stableford round prior to returning to the club house. Score cards are then shuffled before two cards are randomly selected and the scores combined. The pair with the highest combined score are declared the winners. Congratulations Mark Mackwell (41) and Colin Long (38) for a combined 79 points to take out first place ahead of Ian Lakeland (39) and Ken Coller (38)... who totaled 77. Ian was also successful on both nearest the pins on the nominated par 3’s as well as taking out the entry draw. Well done Ian. There were no birdies recorded on the 8th or the 15th. The swindle recipient was David McNair, whilst Kevin King had his chance at finding the joker. Fortunately for the next person to have their name drawn, the joker remained on the board. Next Saturday marks the return of our Melbourne Members. We are all looking forward to catching up. Until next time. Take care. EGC. See more
