25.01.2022 If you want a new club shirt we will be organising a print run this week. You can purchase a shirt from Connor's Menswear and drop them off at the club (put your name on shirt). A variety of sizes are available at Canelands. If you want your shirt before Forest Beach shirts must be dropped off by Tuesday midday. We will do further print runs. The shirt below is 100% cotton. The cost of printing will depend on numbers. If you register online you can get a 20% off voucher (cost per shirt $40). The colour is 'sky'. Similar shirts are available at Sportsgirl and other outlets. https://www.connor.com.au//sky-sniders-casual-shirt-c16cs4

25.01.2022 Selling a standup paddle board. I’d like it to stay in the club so I have a paddle buddy.

25.01.2022 If you are wanting to book the club house for a function / event please contact the Eimeo Surf Life Saving Supporters Club. The Supporters Club manages all venue hire and Friday night bookings. Louise will be able to help with any enquiries 07 4969 6680. Limited spaces available up until Christmas so if you are planning on having your function at Eimeo, get in quick. If you send a message to this page (Eimeo SLSC) about venue hire it may slip through the cracks as the Team who look after this page are responsible for patrolling, nippers and surf club related activities https://www.facebook.com/Eimeo-Surf-Life-Saving-Supporters-Club-618892321539979

24.01.2022 It's SOS week! Help support your local club. We are asking you to "Support our Savers" and recognise the incredible work performed by our volunteers. Rain, hail or shine, our volunteer lifesavers are out on the beaches every weekend during the patrol season to watch over and keep swimmers safe in the water. SOS Week is pivotal in ensuring that surf life savers have the necessary equipment, training, and resources to continue safeguarding our beaches. Our beaches may be free to enjoy, but there’s a very real and tangible cost associated with keeping them safe. While surf lifesavers volunteer their time, the costs of setting up a single patrol add up to more than $80,000. All donations are tax deductible! https://sosweek.raisely.com/eimeo-slsc

24.01.2022 Want to win? Let's see if someone from our club may be lucky enough

24.01.2022 Please reconsider bringing these items down to our beach. Last night we have had reports from a number of people that these items were left on our beautiful beach. Our turtles and other sea creatures have enough to compete with!

24.01.2022 Tonights pub night is cancelled due to weather. See you next week.

24.01.2022 Don't forget to register for the Pool Rescue Nippers Morning this Sunday. There are less than 25 spots available. Capacity is set by the ARC and SLSQ so there will be no exceptions. Once tickets are gone we cannot issue anymore (wow we never expected that we would go anywhere near capacity!!!) https://www.trybooking.com/BLTIW

23.01.2022 Ahhhh.... sing along with me....... dreaming back to pre Covid-19 summer Sunday arvo patrols on Eimeo Beach with Patrol Group 2! With swimming pools re-opening next week what better opportunity to work on that swim time to obtain your bronze medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate and join the fun next season! Video credit to Zamp.... blame him for getting the soundtrack stuck in your head for the rest of the day!

23.01.2022 BEWARE OF CURRENT CONDITIONS! While waves are a rarity at Eimeo and they might not seem big compared to the usual swell south of us, the tide variations of more than 5 metres we are currently experiencing means lots of water moving around making the beach like a washing machine!

22.01.2022 Looking for something fun to do?

21.01.2022 All junior activities, including the breakup party will be cancelled. The clubs Managenent Committee believes this is the right decision to take in our current operating environment. Keep active and enjoy the great outdoors! See you next season.

15.01.2022 It's SOS appeal time again! The money we raise from the SOS appeal goes towards buying essential rescue equipment for the club. This is a great opportunity for non-patrolling members to help out and assist with club activities. There are no pre-requisites - just a happy disposition and a big smile. We need as many families as possible to volunteer their time to assist with this year's appeal. Timeslots are only 2 hours. Please read Louise's email and respond. We do not often ask for assistance with fundraising this is one of the only times in the year we need help.

11.01.2022 The sun sets on the 2019/20 surf season as our amazing volunteer surf lifesavers pack up for the last time until September. Its been a challenging end to the season with Covid19 and our volunteers have really stepped up to ensure the safety of beachgoers on what is the best little beach in QLD! Keep following our page through winter for off season training opportunities once the world starts to return to normal after these crazy times!!

11.01.2022 There is many ways to enjoy our beach - even while socially distancing and other Covid19 restrictions. SwimmingWalking/JoggingPaddling. BUT NOT having a fire and leaving your burnt cans, broken bottles, cigarette butts and used condoms on the beach right in front of the park where kids play and dig in the sand!

10.01.2022 Club Members - please consider joining into this Zoom session on Thursday night. Being part of the red and yellow family is much more than what we do on the beach!

07.01.2022 Eimeo Beach is OPEN today however the stinger risk is high! Protective swimming clothing is highly recommended. As good as Bill would look in a bikini or pair of budgie smugglers, they would offer little protection against a jellyfish sting! Be like Bill!!
