25.01.2022 In June 1956, IBM developed the first commercial hard disk drive as part of the IBM 305 RAMAC (Random Access Method of Accounting and Control) system ( the fir...st super computer ). The HDD has been shipped from San Jose to Zellerbach Paper, San Francisco. It weighed over a ton, stored 3.75 MB of data and leased for $750/month. IBM #engineering
