25.01.2022 Some of the food pairings from the team at Annata. Simply stunning and couldn’t have picked a better lineup of dishes to showcase the wines!! Certainly a night to remember and must do it again soon! Thanks guys.

24.01.2022 Nice to be out with my daughter Alice and catch up with Adrian Hoffman at his Ebenezer Vineyard. We are lucky enough to take fruit from his Young Block. It says some thing about the vineyard when the young block is close to 60 years old! Still early but looking fantastic!

24.01.2022 Thanks to the team at MCC for making our vision a reality! Your experience in finessing the final label has been invaluable.

19.01.2022 On days like this with the canola in full bloom thoughts drift to bud burst and the season ahead.....

19.01.2022 Always an exciting time of year when winemakers await the annual Halliday Wine Companion ratings.... We were delighted to follow on from last years success in being named in the 10 Top New Wineries and have all wines submitted this year rated as Outstanding or Extraordinary! For more information check out our Website www.eisenstone.com.au

18.01.2022 I was delighted to read a very complimentary article by James Halliday in last weekends Australian Weekend Magazine! It was also pleasing to see his scores for the 3 wines reviewed. 2017 Eisenstone Greenock Barossaa Valley Shiraz $75 97 points 2018 Eisenstone Dimchurch vd. Ebenezer Barossa Shiraz $100 97 points 2018 Eisenstone Stockwell Barossa Valley Shiraz $75 96 Points... This was great recognition and came shortly after the 2018 Eisenstone Nitschke Rd vd. Greenock Shiraz $100 being awarded 5 Stars in the current edition of WineState Magazine. Limited volumes of the 2018 wines will be released in the coming weeks. Please let us know if you would like to reserve some. https://www.theaustralian.com.au//e8e1b9f8c55a1aca3a1ba1b0

17.01.2022 The old vines at Ebenezer are ready and being hand picked as we speak. Stay tuned....

16.01.2022 Only 7 days old the 2018 Greenock Shiraz is showing great colour and extract. The moderate weather continues and its looking like 2018 will be an excellent year for the Barossa!

15.01.2022 Some great feedback received during the week! The 2018 Winesate China Premium Wine Selection Year carries a double page spread profiling Eisenstone and lists both the 2014 and 2015 Greenock Shiraz in the wines with special mention. The 2014 Greenock Shiraz ranked 5th from all wines submitted. The article is in Mandarin, but Im sure you get the idea.

14.01.2022 As of tomorrow the 2015 Greenock will be available for tasting at the National Wine Centre! Stay tuned for the 2016 Ebenezer which will follow shortly. Great chance to taste the wines if you haven’t seen the latest releases! National Wine Centre

14.01.2022 Nice to have the vintage safely tucked away and time left to do its thing.

13.01.2022 I was was going to report that it has been a small vintage in the Barossa this year..... but tiny might be a better description. Crops are well down due to unsettled weather early in the season. As expected the low crops have resulted in exception quality in what remains. Colours are dense and the young wines are already rich and dark. With everything else going on it brings a sense of optimism for the future! Stay safe!

13.01.2022 After 10 days fermentation in skins today the wine was drained and off to the basket press

13.01.2022 Great to share our wines with new friends at the Adelaide Museum. Thanks to the South Australian Wine Industry Association for organising a fabulous event!

12.01.2022 Some pleasing results now out from a recent WineState magazine new release tasting with the 2018 Nitschke Road Shiraz rating 5 Stars.

11.01.2022 We are excited to be part of this event at the Museum on Friday. Ten wineries will have special release wines on show. This will also be a vary rare chance to taste our full range, so if you free we hope to see you there!

10.01.2022 It’s been an exciting few days! Eisenstone was named one of the 10 Best New Wineries and gained a 5 Star Winery rating in the 2020 Halliday Wine Companion released today. The pleasing part is that all wines submitted rated over 94 points! Our thanks to everyone who has helped along the way! 2014 Eisenstone Greenock Shiraz 96 Points... 2016 Eisenstone Ebenezer Shiraz 95 Points 2015 Eisenstone Seppeltsfield Shiraz 95 Points 2015 Eisenstone Greenock Shiraz 94 Points See more

09.01.2022 As a winemaker some sights make your heart quicken every time you see them. Old vines with a mat of straw is one of those! The straw is a natural weed suppressant, keeps the roots cooler come summer. It also cuts down on radiant heat and water loss. Natural winemaking starts in the vineyard!

04.01.2022 Exciting news!! Both the 2015 Greenock Shiraz and 2016 Ebenezer Shiraz were both awarded 5 Stars in the recent WineState magazine new release tasting. Look out for the results in the November December edition!

01.01.2022 Always nice to complete the circle and take a sample of the wines back to the vineyard and grower! Both wines came from the same vineyard with the Nitschke Road being a special barrel selection.
